I bought these for my husband who is 6’1” with an athletic build (about 190lbs). He likes the pants despite not being his regular style. He likes that the pants are soft but Doesn’t like that the the rise is low...like every time he bends over, his butt crack could show depending on the shirt. Just something to consider. The cargo style pockets are nice. Update: these pants were nice but I only purchased them back in January (it’s now April) and the pants have slow disintegrated... there are a million mini holes all over the material. If these had lasted longer, I would have definitely bought another pair. My husband mostly wore them for lounging around or runnining errands so it’s not as if he was hard on them.

This is not the SouthPole brand. It's a knock off that's not true to size (2 sizes to small). They aren't even sewn correctly. The pants pull to the right & don't line up in the middle. I'm so disappointed. My husband wanted sweatpants for Christmas & he can't even wear them. I also can't return them because I purchased in October & the return date needed in November, way before Christmas. I will never buy from this company again. What a waste of my hard earned money.

These are cute and cozy and comfortable. The reason for the 2 star rating is that after only ONE wash, they are pilling everywhere and look very worn. It’s such a bummer. I wash on gentle and inside out, and with both pairs I purchased they are ragged after one wash.....

I purchase these in response from my previous pair degrading after a few years of use. Amazon had these in sale for 12.99, and for that price, there was no way I could pass up on these. The fit is just right around the waist, not too loose or tight and perfect ankle length. They will keep you warm in moderately cold weather but I wouldn't trust these in anything below 50° F temperatures, as these are SLIGHTLY on the thinner side. These pants are extremely comfortable to wear, as polyester is soft and not itchy. Overall, I'd recommend them to potential buyers.

These pants are very comfortable. The inside is a soft fleece type fabric. They are really warm when you are indoors, but also well ventilated when you get moving because air easily travels through them. The cargo pockets Velcro shut and seem pretty secure. The waistband ties with a drawstring and also has elastic. The waist is very secure once tied. You don't have to worry about your butt falling out if your squat down. These pants seem to be on the small side - I ordered a medium and they fit me very well. I'm a 5'5" lady and the inseam fits me well, so these pants might fit a tall man around the calves. These pants do pill up easily. I've noticed the fabric pilling in just 2 days of use. It's not just in high friction areas, it's even in areas that don't get a lot of contact.

I was eagerly anticipating these pants because I recently moved to wisconsin & was unprepared for the weather. Sadly these pants are liars. They are most definitely not true to size. They are actually much smaller than stated. I bought a 6x allowing for brand size differences. I am a 5x. How disappointed was I when at first sight i knew they weren't going to fit. Nevertheless I tried them on & they did not get past my hips much less my buttock. I am extremely disappointed & disheartened. The stores here do not carry my size so I am forced to order my clothes. I will never again shop this brand. Not worth the hassle. Not worth the money. Extremely disappointed.
