These look really nice and I put them together on my own. It took a little bit, but I received numerous compliments. However they held very little before the bottom drawer gave out (3 pair of leggings, 2 jeans). A month later the second one had a drawer completely disassemble. During assembly it was discovered that there were a fee missing hole missing. I was able to drill the holes but was disappointed at their quality control.

The dresser came with damage! I had to fix it myself instead of dealing with trying to get the parts that were damaged cause I needed to get it set up

Goes together fairly easily. The drawers are most difficult simply because the bottom support must line up perfectly. Start to finish - it took me 2 hours.

The dresser is very cute but the prefab holes do not line up at all. So some of the drawers are off, the boards do not line up due to the holes being off.

I purchased this dresser and some other pieces from this company over a year ago. So far the furniture has been very sturdy and look brand new still. I was very concerned ordering furniture from Amazon but I was pleasantly surprised. One of the pieces arrived damaged most likely occurred during delivery. I contacted the company and received a replacement piece from them with no hesitation or trouble. I was very happy with them. I recently ordered something from another company and again a piece was damaged. The other company doesnโt want to replace the piece and wants to give me $10. Lesson learned. Any future furniture needs will be purchased from South Shore because I was much happier with their customer service and response to a damaged product. This company is well worth the price paid.

Yes I bought this a while back and I actually did not expect much from it being that it was slightly less than half the price of the solid wood chest I had in mind. Assembly was not bad Iโm a female in my early 40s and I was able to figure it out quite fast and put it together myself, but like everything in life you gotta be patient if you have never put anything else together (I have put some furniture together myself to avoid the extra cost). The only reason I got rid of it a year later and a half later was because I moved and got a bedroom set so I no longer had room for it in my new place I gave it to my niece who is in college. Iโm actually considering buying another one for my other niece!

Just the facts: 1) Unit takes about 4-5 hours to build. (and I'm an able bodied adult) Yes, and 30 minutes of that is just to decipher the instructions that lack any language skills. Instructions are mainly images and have major faults in them. 2) Unit is particle board, comes shipped with dents because the edges are poorly packed and lack foam protection. Wood has strap mark damage as well. You won't notice them until you have started to build this monstrosity, then, it's too late. You're stuck with them. 3) ***WARNING*** the units are packed right off the assembly line, so they have an extreme toxic gas smell to them. Not only did my bedroom become a chemical gas chamber, but the fumes went into my apartment. For over 4 days now and counting, my place smell like a toxic chemical bomb exploded. Still smells. I won't risk placing my clothes in this thing until the smell goes away. One day, I hope. Otherwise I'm tossing this thing in the garbage because it's too big and heavy to ship back, unless you uninstall every single part and re pack the original shipping box. LOL That would be a neat trick. CONCLUSION: Purchase at your own risk. If you have the 4-5 hours it takes to build it, don't mind the wood damage from shipping, and the smell of toxic fumes, that are probably cancerous, invading your home and clothes, then, this is the dresser for you. I contacted the manufacturer for advise on removing the toxic odor, and received the sounds of crickets.
