We didn’t want to sink a lot of money into furniture we’re only using for 3 years so this was perfect for our needs. We also purchased the matching dresser and bedside tables. It’s laminated partial board so it’s not built to last. But if you treat it gently you’ll definitely get your money worth out of it. I like the contemporary design. The drawers are good and roomy. Purchased this for my Walk-in closet. Took me 2 hours to assemble by myself. Instructions were generally easy to understand; a few minor items were slightly confusing, but I was able to figure them out. It is made of particle board and veneer so don't expect high quality. However, it does look like high quality and so far it performs well. If you want high quality that will last for years then don't purchase particle board items, however, expect to pay upwards of $800 (on the cheap side). It's not in my budget so this is the next best thing, and it does last if well taken care of. I have a couple of items made of particle board and still looks good after 5 years of use. I wouldn't recommend using it in places with high humidity. Not sure if I like what they use for the bottom support, I rather it had legs, but it does support it well. My only other minor dislike is that the drawers are not as deep as I would've liked, and the bottom of the drawer will not support heavy items without sagging, but for cloth, it will hold well. One suggestion is to add a small wood or metal strip across the middle of the drawer below the bottom panel. That would greatly help with heavier items. Of course, don't put extremely heavy items and expect that it will withstand such weight. It's made for cloth, not for weights or the like. It did come with a few nicks and some stated that it came with a marker to paint over these, but either it was missing in my package or it didn't come with it. Not an issue as the nick is in the back and bottom. The grey oak veneer, which is the one I purchased, looks great. However, I wish the drawers were fully lined with the veneer, as it is, only the front and sides have the veneer but the back of the drawer is exposed particle board. I will give it good use. Pro.. looks good , clear instructions, good value, pretty sturdy Con..It does take about 3-4 hours to assemble. I did it alone. You need a sturdy 6-8" phillips screwdriver.

Was a beautiful dresser and looked exactly as pictured, but the quality was terrible and made it not even worth it. Within three months the drawers stopped fitting in wheels and would fall. Would even happen with nothing was in the drawer so weight wasn't the problem. I had to throw the dresser out after six months of purchase. The instructions were also impossible to follow. They do not tell you which picture was front and back and each page is not consistent with the previous. I spend over thirty minutes just double checking that I put the metal sidings on the right directions, because the pages in the instruction book did light line up properly with each other. It feels like it's not going to last long but I also don't think it's going to break within the first couple years. Surprised at how much easier this chest was to assemble compared to the double dressers (I purchased 2 a year ago, awful nightmare) I was seriously hesitant to purchase this because I learned how cheaply made the set is when I made the previous purchase, but I needed more storage for that room and it had to match. Although not as difficult to assemble, maybe the directions were tweaked, still terribly cheap cardboard. I doubt it handles a move. Meh, if it’s just the look you want, it’s nice looking AS LONG AS NOTHING GETS BUMPED because it does ding easily. ... show more
