I have built many furniture kits. This is a good one. Connector technology has really improved. You don’t need a screw gun or drill. Everything goes together with screwdriver and is quite strong. Realize with these kits there is going to be dings and dents in the pieces. Very few are actually visible. Doors rattle a little / but just shoot some glue from glue gun on inside and you are good. I took a chance on this Wardrobe even after I read the negative reviews not only on Amazon but on Home Depot as well. It was the only one I could find in the price range that was what I wanted as far as height, shelf and drawer storage, and a hanging rack. It has plenty of room to replace a small dresser and closet. I have to say it met my expectations for quality and look as well for the money. It came in two very heavy boxes, nearly 100 lbs each. It also came in a lot of pieces but it was expected. It took me and my father-in-law about 3 hours to assemble with only one issue. One of the doors to the cabinet had a 4 inch crack on the top right. I was bummed because I was really happy with everything and it assembled well until I saw the crack in the right door on the last step. I took pictures and emailed Amazon. I was planning on keeping the wardrobe regardless of outcome so I used the marker provided with the dresser to color in the crack and it pretty much made it unnoticeable. Amazon gave me the option to return it for a new one, return just the door for a replacement, or take a 25% refund and keep the item. I chose to get $80 back and keep the item. I couldn't be more happy with the item for the price. The customer service was top notch. I would even recommend this wardrobe to anyone looking to add storage space to a room. ... show more

Most disappointing product, drawers come apart. Very poor quality. And has a very bad smell that sticks to clothes and smells like really bad body odor. As you can see in pics, bottom of drawers are paper thin, pieces do not stay together and tracks for drawer are too far apart to keep drawer in place. I was really excited about this product that had mostly good reviews, paid a local company to assemble dresser and a matching wardrobe because 45-pages of instructions for each piece of furniture and instructions practically take an engineering degree to figure out. Even with that, I would’ve been ok, but after assembling, discovered poor quality and awful smell. There was a similar review about bad odor and I thought the person was overreacting until I realized that all my clean clothes were coming out smelling like body odor. And that’s embarrassing to go to work with clean clothes but people think you’re unkempt because your clothes wreak of something awful. ... show more

Yes, there are lots of parts, and the directions tell you it will take 6 hours to put together, but I did it in 4. And I'm the type to have problems putting things together. But, the directions were clear. Everything fit together the way it was supposed to. You only need a second person at certain points when you have to flip the piece of furniture over or to stand it up. Other than that, everything went smoothly. It said that it would take 90 minutes with two people, so putting it together by myself it should’ve most likely taken around 180 to 200 minutes, right? I can’t even remember how many times I called the company to ask for help, one time the lady made me cry because she assumed I was calling to hire somebody from her company to come and set it up for me when all I was calling to do was get clarification on page 17. I will tell you that the instructions are mostly clear, mostly well laid out, but for someone like me who is not good at/not experienced at setting things up, I highly don’t recommend it. Plus I’m a little disappointed that there’s not a sturdier base to each of the drawers, the base they provided for each drawer is pretty weak. And the top doors of the wardrobe I supposed to stay closed on their own, but there’s no magnet or latch or anything to keep them that way. So, when my daughter went to put clothes in, she had to really limit what she could put in because the doors wouldn’t shut. So she only has a few things hanging on the one side. I definitely think it’s mostly nice quality other than what is aforementioned but when I buy it again? No. Oh, in case you’re wondering how long it took me to put together by myself, it took me 11 hours. Hours. Eleven hours. 11!!!!! But I did it and I’m proud of myself for not giving up, but I did ugly cry several times. But it’s done and I’m proud of myself ... show more
