Great price on these! Love that I can get them on Subscribe and Save so I don't have to worry about reordering. Since I found these for UTI, I simply won't be without them. So much better than antibiotics! Also, I have found that these capsules are easier to swallow than the Now brand (which I also like). And in the end, I like the powder better overall, but it's nice to have the capsules for convenience sake at night or when I am away from home. And these are nice capsules at a good price. One thing to note is that, if you are taking them for an active UTI and trying to follow the dosage instructions on various websites, they all seem to get the capsule dosage wrong. Two 500 mg capsules equals 1 gram. Most websites recommend 2 grams every 2-3 hours for active UTI, which they say is one teaspoon of powder or one capsule. Well, they are right about the teaspoon - it's 2 grams. But it takes FOUR 500 mg capsules to equal 2 grams (most websites say one capsule). Just some simple math there, but... If you're just doing maintenance and don't have an active UTI, just follow the instructions on the bottle. But if you have an active UTI and are trying to follow dosages for that, just remember, FOUR capsules is equal to ONE teaspoon of powder (or two grams). Lastly, this stuff really works! I don't ever want to be without it, and it's even easier with Subscribe and Save.

Only product I use from now till the day I die. I have Interstitial cystitis and have struggled with off and on symptoms for as long as I can remember. I read where this can help, but the skeptic in me thought it was just another one of those "fads". Boy was I wrong! I have been taking this for about a year now and I have not had one bad flare since taking. I've had a few times when it started to because of food or excessive exercise and I just take these about 3 times a day and bam...back to normal! I swear by this everyone - if you have this painful bladder condition, you NEED to stock up on this. I've tried other brands and they are just not as effective. It really, really helps and really, really works. No side effects and it doesn't absorb into your bloodstream so you don't have to worry about taking too much either. It really just grabs the bacteria as it's exiting the body and pulls it out. It's amazing - life saver for me.

Many years ago I suffered with repeated UTIs, and it was horrible. Thankfully in middle age I haven't had problems, but I had those familiar symptoms show up over Christmas - feeling like I constantly needed to pee, pain and goosebumps when I did, and burning and fever between times. I had just ordered this D-Mannose because I had read how it helped, so I started taking it three capsules per day (the regular dose is 2x per day) and within 48 hours my UTI was gone. Anyone with this type of problem is familiar with the process - pound water as much as you can, take cranberry juice or capsules, pee often, and if needed get an Rx from the doctor. With these capsules I didn't need to see a doctor - the infection flushed itself out in just a day or two. My college-age daughter is now suffering with recurring UTIs, and I'm logging on Amazon tonight to send her this brand and product. I'm hoping it helps her the way it did me! Having that horrible feeling go away in just a day or so is worth whatever the cost. And this brand and product worked for me.

I suffer from frequent UTI's. I've been in the hospital due to UTI's travelling to my kidneys. I recently had one that went all the way to my gallbladder resulting in it having to be removed. All of this despite taking every precaution known to man and always promptly seeking care at the first sign of an infection. I was on so many antibiotics because of UTI's that I got a c. diff infection and almost died as well as almost losing my colon. Needless to say...the cranberry extract pills weren't doing their job. A friend from a c.diff survivor support group recommended d mannose to me for frequent UTI's. I've been taking it for a week now, twice a day, and my urine is crystal clear with no odor. I also am feeling more energy. I would highly recommend this to any one with UTI issues. It is a good, cheap, all natural preventative. Oh, and don't forget the probiotics...those are a must in preventing UTI 's as well. Peace and wishing everyone a healthy urinary tract!

For a period in time, I suffered from chronic UTIs for months. I've tried Avo medications from drugstores, but they would only mask my symptoms. When it would get really bad, I'd go to the hospital for severe pain and take antibiotics. These would work, but several weeks or a month later, the UTI would come back. I tried everything under the sun to prevent a UTI, changing my hygiene routine and diet included. Eventually it got so bad to where I was hospitalized for a kidney infection due to a severe UTI. I tried to find a solution and decided to try D-Mannose if the UTI returned after I was out of the hospital and finished my medications. Of course, my symptoms came back and I took two capsules before bed. The next morning, I was SO surprised to find that I had NO symptoms! I took one more capsule around the afternoon and haven't had symptoms since. This has been a holy grail for me if I feel a UTI coming on. But since the last time I've taken D-Mannose (about a year now!), I haven't needed to use this again!
