We talked about getting the Asian style soup spoons for a couple years. My wife reached the multitudes of offerings and chose the….she done good! Good size for my larger mits and a nice hefty feel to them. We went back and bought another set.

I really love everything about these - weight/balance, portion size, handle length compared to similar styles and durability without change in appearance. Price was so good we bought another set for outdoor cooking box. I LOVE cooking outside and do lots of soups and stews that call for spoons holding just the right amout of different chunky components. I even carry one in my purse with a silicon straw and expandable steel chopsticks to avoid waste. Overall a very good quality/value IMHO. These and long-handled Korean style spoons complement a variety of dinnerware and dishes well. [According to a sixteen year old glutton with a growth spurt they're "totally awesome" for polishing off a half gallon of ice cream at lightening speed. Who am I to argue?! Lol.] Just get them. :)

I really like these spoons and although I bought them for soup, I find that they also work well with breakfast cereal, because they hold more than my regular large spoons. I suggest that the seller also provide the same spoon shape with and inch or two longer handle for larger hands.

The quality of spoons is excellent & washing in dishwasher doesn't change them at all. Did not give a 5 bc they are a bit wider/larger than they appeared but are very useful. No unusual taste, smooth texture with no rough edges.

Looked for spoons like these after eating clam chowder at a restaurant that used ones like these. Exactly what I was looking for! Perfectly weighted shiny stainless spoons at a very reasonable price. I ordered 6 to see what they were like, then ordered 6 more after receiving these. The perfect soup spoon!

I was looking for soup spoons since those that go with my flatware set are a little shallow. These are excellent - elegant, well-made, and commodious. They are about an inch shorter than my regular flatware so this might be an issue for someone with large hands, or for particularly big bowls.
