  • Not for Everyday Stereo Systems: The S1-2250.1 is a Class D subwoofer amp for serious bassheads with serious charging systems at their disposal. This is an audio amplifier for cars with upgraded electrical systems. Know your charging specs before you buy this amp. You generally need 100 amp hours per 1000W. So, for a 2000W class D monoblock amplifier, you would need a 200 amp alternator.
  • Stays Cool as a Cucumber: Added heatsink and improved circuitry make for excellent cooling. This efficient class D monoblock amplifier design keeps more power flowing to your system instead of turning into heat, so you can play louder for longer.
  • Easy Install, even for Dummies: Set screw terminals connect easily to your power and speaker wire. Surface-mount feet make securely mounting the S1-2250.1 a cinch. This thing does well over rated power with proper electrical. I even ran it on .5 ohm for 2 hours straight. It did heat up a little, but nothing out of the ordinary. This amp was suggested to me by a friend in the the competition side of bass. I couldnt be happier. Talk about watts for the money i give it hell and it keeps taking it. I had to do the big 3 wiring for the battery/ alternator to keep power to this baby. The clipping indicator allows you to properly adjust the amp to keep you from burning up any components unknowingly. With this you know if you are doing damage to you setup. ... show more

This amp is powering two soundqubed hds-212s in a custom enclosure. It manages lows very well compared to my last and has plenty of headroom. Build quality is also great... doesn't get too hot.. would reccomend and have to friends.

The amp is as advertised. I have it wired too 1 ohm in a daily driver and it works flawlessly. Doesnt get real hot. No thump on turn on. And the bass knob with clip light is such a valuable tool you just cannot go wrong with the S1 series. Highly recommend. Forget the price. Forget stickers. This amp is awesome. Have it wired at 1 ohm on a Sundown SA 10 and it slams. The amp has no bass boost which easily leads to distortion. The clipping indicator on the gain remote is also awesome.
