I LOVE these. I have bought so many pairs of headphones, trying to find the right pair. I have 6 different pairs that I have been swapping between. Over the ear, in ear buds / IEM's (my favorites), and open ear. These are my favorite open ear by far. Let me start by saying that ear buds are my preferred type of headphone, but I also have HORRIBLE (all year) seasonal allergies, so ear buds have started to cause a great deal of agitation inside of my ear canals. I also have stretched ear lobes (9/16), so a lot of headphones just don't sit right depending on what plugs I am wearing and they press into the sides of my head. These headphones solved both of those issues for me. Like others have said, these are so comfortable that you sometimes forget they are even on. The sound quality is good, more than enough in my opinion. I am not an audiophile by any means. I do prefer my IEM's as far as quality of sound goes, and of course open ear headphones won't sound as good as those when they are pressed right up into your ear drums (dramatic effect), but the sound on these is good, and the bass is good enough. I love that I can be jamming out at work and yet still hear someone approach me and not get the bejesus scared out of me. The quality of the actual headphones is good. They don't look or feel cheap, the magnet on the charging case stays closed as well (this is a bigger deal than one would think). My only (very) small issue is the touch controls are super sensitive. BUT thankfully with the app you can go in and shut those bad boys right off and not even have to deal with them. And speaking on that, these have been easy to connect to every bluetooth device I have tried, and the app is easy to install and use, it is super straightforward and you don't have to be tech savvy to figure it out. TLDR; I have allergies and stretched ears, these help alleviate the issues that come with both when wearing headphones. The sound is good, the bass is decent, and the fit is super comfortable. Really like it
One of my favorite bluetooth headphones. They fit comfortably without a big heavy battery attached to the bottom, they don't actually enter the ear (I've had some issues with ear infections and I realized it was due to how inside-earbuds gather skin, gunk, and sometimes, bacteria and it's really hard to clean. With these, it literally eliminates the problem. The sound quality is really really high compared to other ones I've tried. No, they aren't full ear-covering headphones, obviously, but these don't heat up like those do and they don't have that bar that covers your head and can get really gross too, so the benefits outweigh the cons. I use a set of these at home and a set for work. They work beautifully. I don't like being snuck up on at work when I'm focused so these allow me to clearly and easily hear what's behind me. The touch button that you can modify via app to pause the music works, though it took a bit of time to get used to touch rather than a physical button. I can always hear whose walking up behind me. I've tested to see how much sound bleeds out of the headphones and honestly, if you listen to a reasonable (safe) volume, there is very little that other people can hear. I sit right next to someone at a separate cubicle and our dividers don't hit the ceiling so all the sounds can travel over. No one can hear anything. I tested by playing "Never Gonna Give You Up" at a normal listening volume and my coworker didn't even flinch, so I knew for a fact that he couldn't hear it. You can modify the EQ via the app as well so it really helps cover for the fact that these are essentially just normal speakers you're holding very close to your ears instead of being isolated by ear buds. I get pretty good quality music and YT videos are perfectly fine. Gaming also works fine, even allowing the simulated directional audio to work. Never had an issue with the app, connecting them to my phone or home computer, or battery life issues. These last a VERY long time and I love that. Don't need to charge during my lunch or risk the last few hours of work being painfully quiet. Has yet to interrupt my gaming sessions with loud "BATTERY LOW" announcements. If you are a jogger, these hang onto your ears very well (personal experience may vary based on ear shape, of course). The hook around your ear is soft and has enough give to easily wrap around your ear and it doesn't irritate the skin there for me. A+ product. Anker has pretty much taken over my whole life. I have several phone powerbanks from them. My vertical computer mouse for home and work is from them. Now my headphones are from them. Great headphones for the price.
I have had these for over a year now and I love them. Here's what you need to know: • They are very comfortable, you can barely feel you have them. • They are durable. I have dropped mine multiple time and they still work great. • Battery life is amazing, they still last me all day. • The touch controls work, sometimes a little too well. It can get annoying when you try to adjust them and end up skipping a song. • The sound quality is alright. These are open ear headphones so you get no noise isolation/cancelation. The BEST headphones I have ever used!
I cannot get regular earbuds to say in my ears for the life of me. Anker is a trusted brand, so when co-workers started recommending "open ear" headphones, Amazon was the first place I looked. The fact that these go over-the-ear rather than fit inside the ear, is a BIG win for me. And the fact that these are so comfortable and can stay over the ear for hours and not hurt my ears is amazing. They are light, but incredibly sturdy even after multiple drops. I should also mention that the sound quality is amazing. They are easy to set up and pair with a phone or personal computer, and I love that a quick double-tap of the right headphone pauses the audio source. Very convenient! If you have not tried open-ear headphones, you owe it to yourself. I was not a believer, but I certainly am now, and I will be using open-ear headphones for the rest of my life. ... show more
