  • Excellent Earbuds for the price
Color: Black Size: Standard
I've had a few sets of earbuds and so far these are my favorite. Pros: - They are small, and light, so they don't fall out of my ears like some. - They have always connected for charging in the case (also a problem with others). - Battery life is great and lasts much longer than I expect. - The bluetooth connection is solid, even far away from my phone. - I like the touch controls and being able to adjust them via the app - Good sound quality and selection of equalizer options - The Find Device option seems good, but haven't had to use it yet. I wish I had this option for the expensive noise cancelling earbuds (now just an earbud) that these are replacing. - Good quality mike Cons: - They aren't noise cancelling, but 9 times out of 10, I don't need it, and I wasn't expecting it for the price. - The case is a nice size, but hard to open without looking because you can't tell the front from the back. The travel loop helps some. - I wish it had better battery life indication. The case only distinguishes between 2 states with a single lite (a small array would be nicer), and the charge state of the case isn't displayed in the app. The earbuds indicate 3 states, and more exact state is shown in the app, but I prefer my earbuds that vocally state the battery level when it is turned on. That may be too much to ask for this price though. ... show more

  • Excellent, absolutely outstanding earbuds in every way but one.
Color: Purple Size: Standard
This will be a comprehensive and in depth review, so I want to be concise right from the getgo; if you don't read any more of this review, know this: what makes these earbuds special is not the stock sound quality, but the potential of the 6mm custom drivers after an EQ has been applied. The only con is the fact that it only uses AAC and SBC connections only, BUT, audiophiles, don't let this deter you, for as I've said previously, the way these sound after EQ'ing are mind-blowing, and worth the trade off. You will get a tiny bit of distortion that's at times not even noticeable, and others, very noticeable, which is unfortunately a limitation of the AAC connection, you can hear sound artifacts in lower quality recordings. Everything that follows is the upside of these magnificent flagship killers. If you've read any of my previous reviews on other true wireless earbuds, you'll know I've been on the hunt for "the pair", which I'm simultaneously convinced and unconvinced exist out there in the ethereum. I've owned: Sony Linkbuds, Linkbuds S, WF and WH1000XM4 and XM5, Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ and EX, Lypertek Pureplay Z7, Final Audio ZE3000, Jabra Elite 85t, 8 Active, Sennheiser Momentum true wireless 2 and 3, Noble Audio Fokus Pro and Fokus H, and many, many, many more including also many high end IEMs with multiple high end DACs. All of this being said, I don't consider myself an audiophile, I just want to listen to music that sounds real and natural. That's it. And for one reason or another, I've returned every pair I've ever had during to one or more fatal flaws that I can't overlook, no matter how much I may love other aspects of the earbuds. Alright, down to brass tacks. Like I stated at the beginning, these are not special because of the way they sound out of the box or any of the features included. Now, that's not to say these are anything to scoff at. Phone call wise, in quiet environments, these are incredibly clear. The battery life is very close to 9 hrs per charge, and if you're like me and use one bud at a time, you're going to get double the advertised battery life from the case and the buds. Bluetooth 5.3 works phenomenally, they connect within 5 seconds of taking them out of the case, which is very pleasing, as there's no fiddling around with connection settings. The fit is stellar, these are incredibly comfortable earbuds that stay in your ears regardless of shakeage. The app features are actually all that you need. It's got a bunch of equalizer presets and customizable touch controls, just not to the extent of some other earbuds. And now the grand finale: with a few caveats, you could have yourself a pair of earbuds here that rival some of the best, most expensive ones on the market, and even surpassing them. To put it plainly: I prefer the sound quality of these over everything but the Beoplay EX and the Master & Dynamic MW08 Sport, and that, only because with the discounts amazon has right now, you can pick these up for less than 30 dollars. Caveat 1) If you want to capitalize on these drivers, you must have an android and the ability to download the SoundID app. With iPhone, you still get the benefits of the eq presets through the app. If you are unable to go through the SoundID process, then the Piano eq preset on the app is the best sounding of them all, and still gives good resolution and texture to the music. Caveat 2) You must set the eq to flat before using the SoundID app in order to keep the distortion post-EQ to a minimum. Alright! Onto sound quality: This is based off of my personalized eq in SoundID. Listening ro something like Damien Rice's Elephant blew my freaking mind. It was like he was sitting right in front of me, and I could hear the breaths, the shifting of the guitar, the quiet sighs and the melancholy in his voice.. never before have I been so in awe of the recording quality of a song. I could not believe how textured and organic and warm sounding these earbuds were. On some of Mac DeMarco's songs, I was hearing things as I've never heard them before: little details in the background were so apparent that were completely missing on some of the other earbuds I've had, including ones that use LDAC streaming Tidal MQA. Now let me get to the bass.... if you're a basshead, rejoice. These have THE most impactful and lush sub and mid bass that I've ever heard from a pair of true wireless earbuds, even rivaling most over the head cans that I've used. I'm talking no distortion, feel it in your neck and chest bass. I am literally blown away that drivers so small can reproduce bass this accurately and without any wobbling or looseness. If you don't believe me, go listen to First Cells off of the soundtrack to the movie Lucy. You will see what I mean very quickly. Absolutely impressive. Let me reinstate that without an eq applied to your hearing profile, these do sound relatively average in most departments, but the detail they are able to retrieve even on just AAC is nothing short of astounding. These sound better than all of Soundcore's other offerings, and I've tried them all, believe me. They sound better than 95 percent of all other true wireless earbuds I've ever used. Congratulations Soundcore, you've absolutely unleashed a masterclass in budget performance, just waiting to be discovered by the right crowd.👏👏👏 ... show more

  • Comfortable
Color: Purple Size: Standard
I have a lot of Anker products so I decided to get theses earbuds to replace others that hurt to wear for long periods of time and kept having to be readjusted (i.e. 6 hour work day). These earbuds are more comfortable than the other ones I had and they need to be adjusted much less often, maybe two or three times and that 6 hour period. However, an annoying issue that I have with these is that they will often disconnect from my phone for seemingly no reason. The buds aren't too far away from my phone, in fact a lot of times my phone is in my pocket when they disconnect. There has also been sufficient Wi-Fi and phone service at the time of disconnection. It's almost every time I use them that they'll disconnect at least once or twice and then reconnect by themselves, causing me to have to look at my phone to play Spotify again. Other than that one thing, these earbuds are pretty good sound wise and comfort wise. I haven't had them for long but the magnetism within the case is still holding up. That was a reason that I had replaced my other ones with these because the earbuds kept unsticking from the case and connecting to my phone. So far so good right now with the Anker buds. ... show more

  • Easy 8 hours of music
Color: Black Size: Standard
I bought these to use for work as I work alone, I intended to only use one of them as we do have to listen. Convenient carrying case with a lanyard, that doubles as a charging station. These charge "wirelessly" and the case charges via USB-C which is common in these times. I've only ever used the right earbud, I slip it in and listen to my music. Great range of sound, decent base, and appears to block out outside noises a decent bit. I absolutely love that I can skip to the next song simply by pressing the earpiece in for a few seconds. My shifts are 12-16 hours, and this gives me continuous Bluetooth music at a low volume for a consistent eight hours. Easily solved by placing on its charging dock when not in use. Pairs easily with your phone and is decently comfortable and doesn't get in the way of anything. Even gives a low battery warning so you know when you need to charge. I wish I bought these long ago, they are very practical for a multitude of situations, whether for work or for listening to an audio book in public, or holding a phone call when you don't want to be holding your phone. Microphones were apparently good because I had zero complaints over several phone calls with these versus using my phone on speaker. What are you waiting for, they're relatively inexpensive and extremely practical, get yourself a pair! ... show more
