I purchased this upon advice of a friend whose sister has one that she uses when she visits. I don’t want a permanent bed in my spare bedroom as I use it as my gym with all my workout equipment. I was hesitant seeing mixed reviews so here’s my honest review and no I didn’t receive the item for free in exchange for the review. The queen size is not as heavy or bulky as I anticipated. It came well packaged and was easily removed from the box. Instructions and the storage bag were easy to locate and review. It was super easy to set up and inflate. It inflated within a few minutes. I wanted to inflate and inspect it to ensure it worked properly and didn’t leak or have any defects. It didn’t. The top has a textured surface presumably so it dampens sound and feels more like a true mattress. I tested it and layed on it and was surprised to find it very comfortable. I chose the model without the head bolster as I read it may interfere with pillows. It gives remarkable support and stability for an air mattress. No leaks or deflation. I then used the attached motor to deflate it. This took only a few minutes. Having observed how it BBC was packaged as it deflated I gently placed it back into that position. Once entirely deflated I folded back into a square. It easily fit into the storage bag which has 2 ties to secure it. The bag has handles and I easily lifted and it stores very neatly in the closet. The footprint is surprisingly small so it doesn’t use much storage space. Now I’m ready for an occasional guests visit. I’ve ordered deep fitted sheets and the rest which should fit nicely. I must admit to some difficulty in finding good quality extra deep 19” fitted sheets for it possibly due to post Covid supply shortages and quality control issues but that’s no fault of the manufacturer. All in all if it lasts a few years of occasional use I’ll be satisfied. A one year warranty by the manufacturer seems to be my deciding factor as reviews I’ve read appear to support the manufacturer stands behind their one year warranty. All considered I believe it’s a good quality air mattress and would recommend.

First, the basics. I purchased a "SoundAsleep Dream Series Air Mattress with ComfortCoil Technology". The size I purchased is a Twin XL. Everything that I read in the description for this Air Mattress is correct. The bed, out of the box, inflated in 5 minutes or less. The bed came very well packed in a box, and while the box had a few impact marks, the bed and the bag that it came packed in were in perfect condition. It also comes with a patch kit with I believe, enough material to patch two holes. The top has a waffled effect and it is "flocked", if that is the correct term. I like both as the "waffle" effect allow my shoulders and head to "sink into" the bed and for my back to get more support. The flocking is almost a skid resistant surface "holds" both blankets and sheets pretty much stay in place and prevents them from sliding around on the bed. The bed also has, when inflated, a kind of a raised bumper all the way around the edges which is very nice as it tells you where you are on the bed if you need to know. The top is supposed to be easy to clean which is a feature I hoped I would never have to us. Of course, that is not the case. On about the fifth night of sleeping on the bed I noticed that there was something on the mattress which turned out to be a piece of pie crust from one of the blankets I was using. The pie crust left an oily mark about two inches square. A little dish soapy water and the oily mark came right off and the mattress looks as good as new. No problem with the flocking coming off either. This is the most comfortable bed I have slept on in many, many years. My wife likes a bed that is almost rock hard which leaves my back and neck without support and aching when I get up in the morning. With this air mattress I can now adjust the bed to just how firm or soft I want it. I keep the bed inflated all the time and, so far, have only had to add air to it about every four to five days ~ 20-30 seconds and the mattress is back just where I like it. While the inflation/deflation fans are somewhat loud, only using them for 20-30 seconds once a week really makes the noise a non-issue. The electric cord for the fans even has a nice storage place built into the mattress to keep it out of the way. I was also concerned about getting hot sleeping on what is really a plastic surface. So far, I have been perfectly comfortable on this mattress. I suspect the flocking helps with that as well. I realize that this mattress is not really supposed to be an every night forever kind of a bed, but I am going to use it like that for as long as I can. I have been sleeping on it for six or seven weeks and have enjoyed it every night. When it wears out, provided it is still available, I will happily purchase another one. Addendum: One day earlier this week, it is now July 21, 2023, my Dream Series air mattress finally stopped retaining its air. At first it was a very slow leak, about 12 hours for the mattress to get "squishy". Last night it only took about 5 hours. Today I called the SoundAsleep support number and spoke with Casey. I can honestly say that for as much as I like the mattress, the customer support is even better. Not only was Casey pleasant and knowledgeable to talk to, she is going to replace my mattress and has even expedited the shipping on it. Yes, even though I am using the mattress as my long term bed which it is not meant for. So, in a couple of days I will have a new "dream" series mattress! The only drawback to this whole experience is that now I have to renew my search for an air mattress that is actually meant to be a "long term" bed and keep my SoundAsleep mattress as a backup. I sure hope I can find one that comes close to being as comfortable as my SoundAsleep mattress. This product and this company are keepers!

First off, thanks for making a storage bag that’s actually big enough to comfortably get the air mattress into while not in use. This thing has been worth every penny. Stretched a little the first night or two of use on a vacation but after that it did not deflate noticably overnight. I’m 200lbs 6’ tall with a bad back. I was shocked at how comfortable it is, and it got me through a 5 night ordeal. Worth price charged just for that alone. Had a similar size adult use it about 2 months later and on night two, it went flat overnight - a tear about 3/8” developed at a seam above the motor . Attempted to use the repair kit but the location was too challenging for the repair patch, I was able to reinflate it but once weight was applied, it lose air fairly quickly. Called support but it was on a saturday, so we made other arrangements for this family member and I figured I’d call back during normal business hours. Fast forward to Monday morning and I get a call from a strange number and it’s these folks, even though I didn’t even leave a message. Dumbfounded, I described what happened, gave them my amazon order number and that same day I got ship notification for a replacement at no cost to me. Now THAT is customer service. I’m glad I ponied up for the premium brand over the other available options, this great customer service experience plus how comfortable it is, easy it is to inflate / deflate / store makes it a no-brainer to recommend. Mine is the full size fyi.
