Description

The SoundAsleep Company was founded under the premise of providing you the best night sleep possible on an air mattress. Our products are designed to offer firm support on the world's most comfortable air mattress. All of our products are made with a Sure Grip bottom to prevent sliding and a puncture resistant material to ensure the longest life possible. All design work is completed in our corporate headquarters in New York, USA. The SoundAsleep air mattress is not designed to be used every day. It is not meant to replace a traditional bed that you would purchase at a store. Our air mattresses, and really all air mattresses regardless of brand, are meant as temporary beds, or for sporadic use. If you use it every day the mattress will degrade and not last as long as a traditional bed. When the air mattress is used for more than 2 nights in a row, it is recommended that the user "top up" the mattress with 10 seconds of air. Stretching is a natural characteristic of new vinyl air mattresses and the first few times you use the mattress. Some stretching will occur suggesting that the mattress is losing air. However, it is simply stretching under your body weight and this is normal for the first few uses. Just give it a top up with a little more air as needed! Does it stay inflated all night? Yes. Some softening is normal during the first 2-3 uses as material stretches. After that, it holds air for days. Can I adjust firmness? Yes. Turn the dial to add or release air until you reach your preferred firmness. What's included? Air mattress with built-in pump, carry bag, patch kit, and instructions. No separate pump needed.

  • Great Product and Amazing Customer Service
Size: King Color: Blue
⭐️ This air mattress exceeded my expectations! It inflated quickly, stayed firm throughout the night, and was surprisingly comfortable to sleep on. The material feels durable and well made, and it provided great support without losing air. It’s easy to set up and pack away, making it perfect for guests, camping, or travel. I would definitely recommend this air mattress to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable sleeping option. ... show more

  • Comfortable air mattress that is easy to use.
Size: Queen Color: Black
It is a comfortable air mattress that functionally is the same as most other air mattresses I have purchased, although I would say it seems to be heavier and hopefully it will last longer than others have. It loses a little bit of air when using overnight but not enough to be uncomfortable, have used 5 nights now and whether 1 or 2 people on the bed doesn't seem to make a difference. If you want consistent firmness I would suggest that look at the more expensive model with the secondary pump feature to add air throughout the night. I used it in my RV while on shore power and had no issues with inflating/deflating. It took about 5 minutes to inflate/deflate. The additional height makes it much easier to get in/out of the bed. The storage bag is nice and makes it easy to transport. ... show more

  • Best bed I have had for a very long time. (July 2023 Addendum)
Size: Twin XL Color: Blue
First, the basics. I purchased a "SoundAsleep Dream Series Air Mattress with ComfortCoil Technology". The size I purchased is a Twin XL. Everything that I read in the description for this Air Mattress is correct. The bed, out of the box, inflated in 5 minutes or less. The bed came very well packed in a box, and while the box had a few impact marks, the bed and the bag that it came packed in were in perfect condition. It also comes with a patch kit with I believe, enough material to patch two holes. The top has a waffled effect and it is "flocked", if that is the correct term. I like both as the "waffle" effect allow my shoulders and head to "sink into" the bed and for my back to get more support. The flocking is almost a skid resistant surface "holds" both blankets and sheets pretty much stay in place and prevents them from sliding around on the bed. The bed also has, when inflated, a kind of a raised bumper all the way around the edges which is very nice as it tells you where you are on the bed if you need to know. The top is supposed to be easy to clean which is a feature I hoped I would never have to us. Of course, that is not the case. On about the fifth night of sleeping on the bed I noticed that there was something on the mattress which turned out to be a piece of pie crust from one of the blankets I was using. The pie crust left an oily mark about two inches square. A little dish soapy water and the oily mark came right off and the mattress looks as good as new. No problem with the flocking coming off either. This is the most comfortable bed I have slept on in many, many years. My wife likes a bed that is almost rock hard which leaves my back and neck without support and aching when I get up in the morning. With this air mattress I can now adjust the bed to just how firm or soft I want it. I keep the bed inflated all the time and, so far, have only had to add air to it about every four to five days ~ 20-30 seconds and the mattress is back just where I like it. While the inflation/deflation fans are somewhat loud, only using them for 20-30 seconds once a week really makes the noise a non-issue. The electric cord for the fans even has a nice storage place built into the mattress to keep it out of the way. I was also concerned about getting hot sleeping on what is really a plastic surface. So far, I have been perfectly comfortable on this mattress. I suspect the flocking helps with that as well. I realize that this mattress is not really supposed to be an every night forever kind of a bed, but I am going to use it like that for as long as I can. I have been sleeping on it for six or seven weeks and have enjoyed it every night. When it wears out, provided it is still available, I will happily purchase another one. Addendum: One day earlier this week, it is now July 21, 2023, my Dream Series air mattress finally stopped retaining its air. At first it was a very slow leak, about 12 hours for the mattress to get "squishy". Last night it only took about 5 hours. Today I called the SoundAsleep support number and spoke with Casey. I can honestly say that for as much as I like the mattress, the customer support is even better. Not only was Casey pleasant and knowledgeable to talk to, she is going to replace my mattress and has even expedited the shipping on it. Yes, even though I am using the mattress as my long term bed which it is not meant for. So, in a couple of days I will have a new "dream" series mattress! The only drawback to this whole experience is that now I have to renew my search for an air mattress that is actually meant to be a "long term" bed and keep my SoundAsleep mattress as a backup. I sure hope I can find one that comes close to being as comfortable as my SoundAsleep mattress. This product and this company are keepers! ... show more

  • Excellent mattress, amazing customer service but initial purchase could have lasted longer.
Size: Twin Color: Black
The mattress is easy to set up and very comfortable. It inflates and deflates in a few minutes. The flocking on the top surface makes it less noisy than other mattresses I've had, though I can hear my guests roll over. Fitted sheets stay on reasonably well. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that after 11 months of light use (a couple of days every month) it left my poor guest almost on the floor by morning. I could not hear or see a leak. I emailed customer support and Casey sent me a replacement right away! The new one has stayed inflated and doesn't even need a top off every day. I would say the motor on this one is a bit louder than the previous. So I'd say 5 stars for customer support and overall comfort, but only 4 for durability. ... show more

  • The best-feeling air mattress I have ever laid on!
Highlights (DreamSeries Cal King): (1) The most important consideration is comfort. This mattress is more comfortable than any air mattress I have ever slept on! (2) No large pillow area on one end (which is a contributing factor to number 1 above). A few people might prefer this, but really – who is going to sleep on an air mattress without their own pillow? I mean, seriously? And if you add your pillow to the built-in pillow found on other mattresses, it ends up being way too high and totally uncomfortable. So yeah, much prefer the feature of having NO Pillow on one side! a. Also, with having no huge pillow side, it is then possible to sleep with your head on either side of the mattress! No being forced to set up your mattress one way. Further, if everyone is under 6 feet tall, you could even turn the mattress “sideways” and fit up to 4 people (referring to the California King)! (3) Super quiet to inflate and deflate. This is sooo important when you don’t want to disturb others around you. (4) Holds air throughout the entire night. I tested it inflated for 3 nights, and it kept its air then entire time. (5) Two color options. For those who are into “energy”, supposedly dark colors (esp black) absorb and retain negative energy more than light colors – so if you believe in that kind of thing, you could opt for the blue and white color option. Regardless, it’s nice to have options! (6) Family owned. Super responsive customer service – in case you have any questions, etc. (7) There was one more point that I wanted to share, but it is eluding me at the moment. Anyway, bottom line is – a high quality product that is definitely worth the investment! ... show more

  • Good mattress
Size: Twin XL Color: Blue
Firm, strong, comfortable, provides good support, does not deflate noticeable during the night, very easy to operate (inflate/deflate). Not that it matters much, but visually rather pleasant too. The only drawback is that my overnight guests complained that it feels cold at night and they needed a blanket to put on top of the mattress to feel comfortable. I did not feel it when I was using the mattress myself. ... show more

  • The trick to getting it back in the bag...
Size: Queen Color: Blue
Update, as of 09 January, 2026 I've noticed a lot of comments that the mattress is difficult to get back into that bag. That too has always been my experience. Then I did a little experiment this morning that seems to work. 1. Lay the mattress on a flat floor and inflate it all the way (no need to make it rock-hard). 2. Turn the pump switch to "deflate" and observe as the air leaves the mattress. 3. When it is about 1/2 deflated (with the motor still running) begin folding in the sides. Fold the first side about 2/3 of the way across the remaining side. Try to "tuck in" the side areas as you fold. Neatness counts. 4. As soon as you are able (again, with the motor still running), fold the remaining 1/3 of the mattress back onto the side you worked with in step 3. Try to make the folds "as neat as possible". 5. When step four is "pretty much complete" grab the non-motor end and fold the mattress in half, end to end. 6. Continue to try to "tuck everything in" until the mattress if fully deflated. Let the motor run another minute or so, just to make sure all the air is out, as you continue to "tuck everything neatly). 7. While it will be a bit of a squeeze, the mattress should now fit into the bag. Good luck! =============== I bought this mattress about 7 months ago to use as a guest bed. It has served that purpose very well, being easy to setup and take down. When inflated, it really feels like a "real bed". In fact, I'd go so far as to say that it's actually more comfortable than standard mattress sest. The air inside adjusts to the body perfectly and never sags (like a conventional mattress can do.) The person sleeping can adjust the firmness to persona taste in just seconds. The built-in pump fills the bed FAST! From empty to full, took less than 5 minutes. My guests tend to use it for 3 or 4 nights at a time. During their "stays", I've never had to top-up the air. (The only exception was when it was first new and took a little while for the material to stretch a bit. Once that was done, however, it seems to hold air really well.) After using it intermittently for those 7 months, my recent Thanksgiving guests reported it was leaking air. To make a long story short, I contacted the "SoundAsleep" support team. First sending them an email explaining the issue, then calling them by phone about 5 minutes later at the suggestion of their immediate automated email reply. In this day and age, I always expect to be lost in some phone system hell, then be forced to do battle with customer service departments. Such was not the case this time, however. I was amazed that my call went straight through to a very polite customer service agent. Not only was there virtually no wait time, but also when I started to explain that I had just sent them an email, the agent asked, "Oh... Is this "<my name>"? Not only had she already pulled up my email, but she had read it and was ready for the conversation and called me by name. To make a long story short, she immediately took care of me, and after a very short verification of my purchase from Amazon, she kindly said, "we will send you out a replacement tomorrow by priority shipping". No muss, no fuss! Amazing! In today's world, it's so rare that a product performs so well... then (if necessary) that the company so completely and quickly stands behind its product, if an issue happens to arise. My only regret is that I can't give this company and their products MORE than 5 Stars! One of the reasons I chose this mattress initially was that it (and the company) got top ratings in reviews that I read before ordering. Those high reviews were not exaggerated. In retrospect, going with this product was a wise decision on my part! I highly recommend this product and the company standing behind it. ... show more

  • Great mattress, even better customer service
Size: Twin XL Color: Blue
I have 3 of these mattresses. They are the best air mattress I've ever used. 1) They inflate/deflate FAST. The built-in pump is terrific. It will inflate and deflate in roughly 60 seconds. And since the pump pulls every bit of air out of it, it easily folds back into the carrying case. 2) They blow up TALL. They're really easy to get in and out of, even if you're not a spring chicken:) 3) Great customer service: I did have an issue with one of my air mattresses springing a leak around the pump 11 months after I got it. I emailed customer service to ask if they could help with how to repair this area, and they sent me out a new mattress the following day. Really amazing customer service. ... show more
