A little light weight and have to make sure the faders on left side of the mixer are raised to keep them from being pinched by foam in lid. I will trim it out later

This review is for the case for an A&H SQ7. OK...so the price is half of what some other manufacturers want for similar cases. That's the good news. Now the rest of the story. First and foremost, the foam supports in the lid are NOT tailored to the SQ7. They crush the motorized faders on each side of the board. It take some pressure on the top of the case to get it closed, which means you're pushing and compressing the faders. I'll have to do some handy knife work to save my faders. In addition, the wheels are so small and cheap I don't expect them to last more than a year, and rolling this case down a brick or other rough sidewalk is out of the question. Anyone that believes these are "heavy duty" casters is delusional. The handles are of good quality, but there are only three...one on top and one on each side, mounted vertically. I would have preferred them to be horizontal to ease the loading and unloading into the van, to keep it on it's wheels. The doghouse is spacious enough, although it would have been nice to provide some sort of closure device to ensure it stays closed. Unless you're prepared to do some foam carving, and don't move around all that much, I would NOT recommend this case for the SQ7. Perhaps they took the time to measure for other models, but they certainly didn't do so for the SQ7. **UPDATE** Well, it took less than a year for me to completely give up on this case. The ridiculously small wheels are continually falling off as they won't stay on no matter how tight you screw them on, and on anything other than a linoleum floor they are practically unusable. I've taken to just using a 2-wheeler hand truck to move it over sidewalks, brick, or stone surfaces. The vertical handles have caused far more wrist injuries than was expected while lifting the case into the van. Another irritation is that the case lid (that incorporate the wheels) will not remain upright when removed, so it's a pain to roll it to a storage area and have it remain upright. ... show more
