The rack case comes with aluminum-reinforced plywood and metal corners to protect your gear when you're on the go. It is equipped with 8U rack space and a standard 17” depth. Its removable front and rear covers provide easy and maximum access to rack rails. I don’t write reviews often because I’m such a busy individual with my DJ business however, I had to stop and take the time to write this review. I’ve worked with road cases for years, but as the DJ industry is becoming more about mobility, but also keeping a higher-end premium feel I needed a little mini road case for just my basic microphones and wireless iPad mixer. This case was exactly what I was looking for. The quality is great, the casters are awesome and you can see from my rear picture There’s plenty of room for wires to be maneuvered and placed as my wiring constantly gets moved and set up behind the DJ booth. Soundtown also put the castors inside the case and bolted them to the rack mount so they wouldn’t damage the inside of the case during shipping. They also provided many extra screws for all of the gear that needs to be rack mounted. But most of all, the price is a few hundred dollars cheaper than other competitors for the same quality. Seems to be built well. Castors seem like they should hold up, and the (2) that have locks are a good feature. Like that it came with rack screws! The blacked out hardware is slick, time will tell if it looks good down the road.

We purchased this 12u rack to hold the equipment for my wife’s school concerts, the schools sound system is not ideal for a performance find for a speaker to talk to everyone, but we have always brought some equipment. This rack allowed us to have most already hooked up ready to go, and most importantly 1 trip in the building. I currently have a 1u power bar, 6 shure SLX receivers, and the Allen and Heath cq-20b mixer, and on the back side is the shure antenna combiner since that does not need to be front and center. There is rack rails on both the front and back of the rack so things can be mounted on both sides to get more space used. I was actually shocked to find the cover fit on with the antennas and the XLR cables plugged into the mixer with enough clearance. I plan to add a few more things, drawer, another 2 receivers, and maybe a transmitter. For our use it was worth every penny made the last performance so easy to setup and saved so much time on setup and clean up. We did also have an issue with ours but the seller was very quick to responded and a solution was provided in a very timely manner, very impressed with them and 100% recommend them and a seller on top of 100% recommending this rack. ... show more

10U rack with casters ,Most bang for your buck in todays economy, this thing is built like a tank, i expected flimsy hatches for the doors .... but NOOO!!! this is the real thing!! , the casters are also heavy duty!! there is a couple of damaged rivets inside but nothing that can affect the sturdiness of this thing, i was going to get a GATOR 10U molded case, but with casters the molded case goes for about 489!! ayyyyyy! , so if you need a well made and functional 10U case with casters , this is it, it have both rear and back rack rails, so you can mount stuff front and back! kudos to SOUNDTOWN! you have a customer for life now!! get this before the price goes up!! ... show more

Case is well made, arrived fast and in perfect condition as it was packed well. I already know I'm going to enjoy having this case added to my rig. I just wish the legs on the side tables were adjustable so I could set one or both of them a little higher to normal table height. Great looking rolling rack unit. The black out edition looks really nice once loaded up! I run a permanent snake for all instruments, vocals, and drums and this box gives me the room to leave everything plugged in and organized for easy setup. Don’t bother with gator.. these look and perform amazing! ... show more
