Made with a lightweight aluminum frame and commercial grade laminated 1/2” (12mm) plywood, these road cases will protect your gear from the damage and destruction that can occur in between gigs. The recessed carry handles are designed to provide comfort while moving your gear around. The Sound Town STMR-12TD2 is a 12U road case with 20“ rackable depth and 11U slant mixer top, which enables you to mount your mixer on the top fo easy control access and the other gears down below. Better yet, it also come with a sturdy steel locking drawer with protection foam inside to hold your notebooks, tablets, small purses, microphones, cables and etc. The attachable standing lid table can be turned into your workshop and keep your gear organized and easily accessible during your professional events.The STMR-12TD2 also features heavy-duty latches and casters which allow the case to be easily transported or moved around. The road case ships mostly assembled (excluding the caster & caster board) for a quick installation. It is a durable and dependable tour grade road case to protect your gear.

    • More light duty, but good for the price

Good quality except for the wheels. Need better bearings. Out of the box, one of the wheel’s bearing was missing a ball, so it squeezed and caught once in a while. It’s functional, but I’m ordering new wheels to replace these.

I wanted a case with plenty of room to put a digital mixer, control board, and other items used for live sound. This case came as advertised and even had extra screws. The Velcro that holds the table legs broke on first use but I will change it to something more secure.

Some parts came broken. Hard to tell if it was the shipping company or the actual product itself. There is velcro that holds the table legs when stored. One side was torn off and it's held by rivets so I had to apply gorilla glue to hold it (as seen on one of the pictures), otherwise if not, when transporting your mixer, that table leg is gonna be banging against the mixer. Not good. Also the other end of the table leg the horseshoe bars holding it is broken so one side of the legs is a bit wobbly. Also the Riser where you can lift the mixer up and down, one side was not even bolted down. And when I found it in the box I put it together and the riser still feels not sturdy at all, considering it's got to hold a mixer that is worth more than the actual case itself. Overall, it's good for the price and I'll use it til it breaks down on me but if you're looking at getting something like this, go with Gator or SKB, more expensive but better brands and better built. ... show more
