  • Absolutely love this net! A kayak angler's dream (or any small boat to be honest)
Style: Stretchable (44.5in)
I am genuinely impressed! From the moment I took it out, I could tell it was well-made and solid. I've gone through a few nets and have been fishing for about 40 years (that's hard to say out loud here). The design is incredibly practical for kayak fishing. It collapses easily and tucks neatly out of the way, which is great when space is limited. However, when I need it, it's really easy to deploy and extends to a respectable length. The foam handles are very comfortable, and the overall feel of the net is robust. I especially appreciate the rubber net – it's gentle on the somewhat fragile trout I often catch, which is a big plus for responsible angling. While I primarily fish for trout from my kayak, I can definitely see how bass anglers targeting fish under 5 pounds would find this net very effective as well. I fish both, and it's versatile enough for either. The floating design is a helpful feature! Knowing that I don't have to worry about losing it if it goes overboard provides real peace of mind (which happens more than I care to admit). The retractable and foldable design makes it easy to carry and store, even in the limited space of my kayak. The rubber-coated net pockets are another excellent detail. They are hook/spike-free, dry quickly, and don't seem to hold onto any fishy odors – a definite improvement over traditional netting. Whether you fish from a boat, kayak, canoe, or wade in streams, rivers, ponds, or even the ocean, this net seems versatile enough for any environment (freshwater or saltwater!). ... show more

  • Great net for our pontoon!
Style: Stretchable (44.5in)
This is such a nice net! I actually didn't realize it folded until it showed up that way! So that is an EXTRA plus! We just got a new boat and this will be nice to have on hand for fishing - and grabbing things we dropped in the water. Ha! The net seems to be pretty stretchy (but not too stretchy). I'm surprised at how durable it all feels. Definitely impressed with this so far! ... show more

  • Excellant net in form and function ... but...
Style: Stretchable (44.5in)
This is a very well-built fishing net. Good materials and very sturdy. I've used it a number of times just recently here in northeast Tennessee going after trout while wading in some trickier waters. Having the adjustable length handle helped tremendously in slower sections where the fish bolted in the gin-clear water the instant they saw me. In that situation, longer handle is better. In turbulent waters, the shorter handle worked best to quickly nab my quarry and not let the current grab the net pulling me off balance. The only flaw in the overall design is more of a personal choice for me. I would prefer to have a two-part magnet secure the net back on my belt after use. The belt clip is in a somewhat awkward place on the handle and doesn't stow easily. Overall, solid 4 of 5. ... show more

  • Great set of fishing tools
Style: With Fishing Pliers Set
Great set of tools for fishing. The net folds up and does not take up to much room but opens up to fit a good sized fish. The pliers are quality metal and are really strong. The fish grabbers are nice especially with all the horrific toothed saltwater fish. Fresh water will be nice also so your thumbs aren't raw from picking up bass all day. The filled knife is made with good metal. The handle is ergonomic which helps if you clean alot of fish. Has a nice plastic sheath that clicks into place so it won't fall off and get lost and this thing is razor sharp. Has held a nice edge for a couple fishing trips. The line clipper that clips onto your shirt and self retracts is a bonus we all need. ... show more

  • Great for fishing
Style: Stretchable (44.5in)
This is a great collapsible fishing net and I have used It a few times in same lakes and rivers in my area. It has been great at catching the fish right before it gets to the surface and thus it allows me to get the fishes out the water in a more humane manner. As a DIY fisher I recommend this net as it is lightweight and compact. ... show more

  • Thank goodness it floats!
Style: Stretchable (44.5in)
I love this net! It’s great for bank or boat fishing. It’s a good net to haul in your catch. Disclaimer, I haven’t catch any absolute monsters but this is perfect for bass and similar sized game fish.

  • I needed to get this sooner! Great folding design!
Style: Stretchable (44.5in)
This net is perfect! Not only is it sturdy, well made and floats but it also folds! This fixes the 1 issues with fishing nets in the past for me. We love to bring them out to catch crabs at the beach but in our car it's a pain and sometimes impossible to find the room for the long handle nets. This completely fixes that. It extends to about 45 inches but folds up to only 17 inches. It's perfectly portable! The net material is a rubber coated type of material that feels like it will last a long time and avoid mildew and dry rot. The handle is metal and has a gorgeous blue anodized paint job. This thing is coming to the beach every time now. ... show more

  • I Actually like it
Style: Stretchable (44.5in)
I've picked up a couple of these nets now to have on my boat. They're pretty good so far. I waited a bit to use them a few times before making a final judgment on them. I've used this net now on trout, large mouth, flat head and striper and so far it's handled great. The fact that these nets are telescopic and fold is a huge plus in my book. They're super easy to store either on a boat or in a backpack if you're bank fishing. They hold up well to the big fish I've used it on. For a lower priced net this is a good buy ... show more
