In order to reduce the negative effects brought on by the rising temperatures, a cooling device is critical and necessary. Oxidation-resistant metal fan bladeWhat makes Sotop Axial Fan Series stand out is the oxidation-resistant metal fan blade. It performs much better in heat dissipation and has a much longer life span than the usual plastic counterparts. The majority of existing blowers made of PBT or PC material are not capable of blocking the incoming electromagnetic waves. With the help of Sotop oxidation-resistant metal fan blades, the disturbances from electromagnetic waves are eliminated at the largest extent. The fan is heavy duty and I assume as waterproof as it claims. The included mounting screws, however, began to immediately corrode when exposed to the high RH in my grow tent. I’ll be replacing them asap.

We built a Halloween decoration with this fan and were surprised to find how well it works even in wet conditions. Note I was very surprised at the heavy metal used for the construction. Be mindful it does use metal blades so I would recommend using the included guards. It is nice how it is AC powered and can be simply plugged in to work. ... show more

This is a nice fan that I bought for my chicken coop. It is a little small for the size of my coop, but saved my chickens last summer when it got hot. It is quiet so the noise didn't bother the chickens

I wanted to carry a 3.5KW generator in a hitch-mounted, enclosed cargo carrier behind my campervan to run our AC while driving. Using 5 of these fans and multiple air intake holes, I'm able to keep the temperature inside the enclosure within 5 degrees of the outside temp, even when the generator is running at 60% power charging batteries and running the AC unit. I'm very impressed with these fans and how they hold up to heat. At one time, the side fan was in the direct flow of the gen's exhaust, and exposed to 185 degree air for up to 20 minutes with no side effects. I've since added a deflector in front of that fan. The generator has a remote start, so I can start the gen while driving which powers the fans and a 30 seconds later, the AC turns on. Perfect! Wouldn't be possible with these fans! ... show more

I installed this fan to stop a generator's carbon monoxide sensor from going off - the fan is venting the CO down and out of a partially enclosed area. It is super light and very quiet, and is doing the job as intended - no more CO alarm!

    • Good airflow but cord is short
I have two of these to provide ventilation for my indoor garden. They are hooked up to a timer to cycle them on for 15 minutes every hour. They provide good airflow and I like that they are waterproof because I spray my plants most evenings. They are a little loud but not overly noisy. It may get annoying if they are on continuously and you are in the same room. My only lite complaint is the power cord. The cord attaches to the fan via a non standard connection and the cord is quite short. I had to hang up my surge protector on the wall to get the power cord to reach. Not a big deal but something to consider if your power source is far from the fan. ... show more
