These Sorels are a staple! I’m normally an 8 and tried both an 8 and 8.5. For winter in WI I went with the 8.5 to fit a little thicker sock. They are incredibly comfortable, warm and of high quality. They’re also easy to slip on and can be dressy or casual. I love these beautiful classic boots!

I was worried after seeing a few reviews where people got two different shoes that these would be "dupes." They were exactly as pictured on the Sorel website, fit comfortably, though a bit bigger than another pair of Sorel winter boots I own. I plan to purchase another pair of these in the future but will probably size down. I decided to keep these since I can wear them all winter with some thicker socks to keep my feet warm and comfortable. I have worn them in the rain, but not trudged through any puddles to test the waterproof material. I do plan to bring them along on my trip to Ireland in May, and I think they will be comfortable for going out in the city at night and will keep my feet dry. ... show more

These are great ankle boots! I ordered a 9.5 which is my normal size and they are perfect with thick boot socks. If you’re wearing without thick socks, you could probably size down a half size. I love the soft leather and comfort, but with soft leather they do get marked up easily. The fit was correct to what it was, and it is a great sturdy brand!

I normally don't buy shoes with a wedge or much of a heel due to my plantar fasciitis, but I loved the looks of this shoe and have heard good things about the brand so I gave it a try.
