I bought 2 different styles of Joan of Arctic wedges, and I love them, but I needed something slightly lower. For colder months, I need boots, but I need something with a heel so that the back of my foot doesn't get blisters from constant friction (every boot without a heel that I've worn does the same thing to my feet). Joan of Arctic heel height is slightly too high for a lot of walking. So I thought I'd try these. These are perfect. They go with everything professional and casual in my cold-weather wardrobe. And they are great for walking, being a comfortable heel height and width (my feet are slightly wide). They are cute and functional, both important characteristics taken into consideration when joining my closet collection. I feel steady on my feet with the low wedge heel and great traction. I put them on and have worn them several times, and they haven't given me any discomfort. My feet are able to breathe well enough, so they don't get all sweaty or stinky, but they've stayed dry in rainy conditions. I anticipate that they'll do great in the snow. These are a wedge type sole that look like a flat boot. They are completely waterproof and warm and cozy. Fits true to size and I really love these! They are true leather not faux. These are amazing fall/winter boots. I love that they pull on and when I wear them with wool socks, there’s nothing cozier! They run true to size for me. I’d say that they aren’t snow boots for me- rain for sure, but I’d be nervous in a low wedge in snow. I want another color, I wear them so often. 5/5! ... show more

I bought these for a weeklong trip to London in November. I wanted something cute, with good grip, weather resistance, and something that would be relatively comfy for walking around all day. I would say these did pretty well! They seem well made and I think they are so cute and have a little wedge heel. It didn’t really rain on my trip, so I can’t speak to the weather proof/resistance, but I will update my review when I get to test that. I walked at least 15k steps everyday and they were supportive and comfy. My feet did get sore, but walking around on concrete all day will do that to them regardless of what shoe I wear. I did have to wear tall socks with them (under my pants) so the top edge didn’t rub on my ankle. According to the size chart, I am a 5.5, so I ordered that and they fit well. ... show more

These boots have a hidden platform which is not too high but just high enough to be cute for my 5 ft shortness. Theyre comfy and I can walk around in them all day. Super pretty and stylish and water proof is a plus!

Literally my most favorite bootie to wear with jeans! They give you a little boost of height with the wedge, and are so cute! Most shockingly they are so comfortable, I literally wore them all day and couldn’t believe I didn’t notice them! I get so many compliments on the style/color (Taffy/Gum3)!
