The Sorel Women’s Caribou Boots that I ordered from Amazon.com have turned out to be an excellent product that I’ve been very satisfied with. I ordered these boots in November and have been wearing them all winter. They have worked out extremely well for me, especially with all of the snow. These boots would be ideal for you if you are someone who lives in a location that has snowy winters, and has a need for boots to protect their feet while walking on snow or ice. These boots are extremely warm and do an excellent job of protecting your feet in extremely cold temperatures. They are water resistant and insulated, so they are the perfect winter boots to keep your feet warm and dry. Although the insulation make the boots a little heavier that regular uninsulated boots, they are still extremely manageable. The little bit of extra weight in the boots is worth the extra protection and warmth that your feet will get. They have significant traction on their soles that will prevent you from slipping or losing your balance when walking on ice or snow. Compared to most other boots, the Sorel Caribou boots do a much better job at providing traction on slippery surfaces. The boots are also a neutral color and are therefore very versatile for your wardrobe. Not only are they extremely functional, but the Sorel boots are stylish as well. They would make a great addition to your wardrobe as both an attractive pair of boots and practical winter footwear. The Sorel Company is extremely reliable and trustworthy. Ordering this product through Amazon.com is also very safe and convenient. Your boots will be delivered within a reasonable time and at a reasonable price. Because of the quality of this product and all of its positive characteristics, the Sorel Caribou Boots come highly recommended. They will meet all of your needs and expectations and will be a positive addition to your wardrobe.

I bought these to replace the pair of Sorel winter boots that I bought in 1992. They are good quality, well-made, and warm. These are a bit stiff but I’m sure they will break in as I use them this winter. The only reason I even needed to replace the boots I bought in 1992 is because I wear a slightly larger size now than I did then (which is normal over 30 years). I highly recommend these boots.

Heading into my second winter with these Caribou boots and I love them. Prone to cold feet, these lined boots have so far kept my toes warm in snow and slush. That being said, I canceled my Amazon order of these when I found they were far less expensive on the Sorel site. Wish I could find a pair for my dog so we could hike longer! These boots have beaten LL Bean similar ones and the many unmentionable ones from before. Simply put: the BEST!

These are beautifully made but they have changed the room they used to have to fully spread the laces and give better access. I have slender legs, ankles and feet and all my shoes are the same size as these but it took everything I could do to get them on. There was no room for nice winter socks. My old ones were 35 years old. These wear like iron but you may have to experiment to find a size that will fit your foot comfortably. I will break them in before winter as these are the only boots that keep your feet warm no matter how cold it gets. Still love Sorells.

I bought these boots for a trip to Fairbanks, Alaska in the end of February. This was my third try to find a pair of boots that would keep my feet warm in sub-zero temperatures while standing outside watching the Arora Borealis in the middle of the night. These boots are the best; with a roomy toe box that allowed me to wear 3 pair of socks without cramping my feet and I was warm and dry for the whole trip. I was concerned, at first because they are so heavy and roomy, but they never hindered me when I walked around in the snow at the International Ice Carving Championships, and they were comfortable with just one pair of thick socks (during the day). I highly recommend these boots in the cold and snow!

Thick, roomy fit. I wear a size 7.5/8 but based on reviews went with 8 and it fits perfectly. I prefer thin wool socks but you can easily wear thick socks and have plenty of room to wiggle toes, though you won’t need to because these are incredibly warm and cozy. The tongue is machine stitched to the boot flaps at the laces so no water can get into the boot. See pics. Good quality corded laces and D rings make for quick lacing but I leave mine loose and can easily get in and out without untying. Thick rubber soles and leather with reinforced loops in back to help pull boots on. I love the upper shearling strip because it keeps my shins warm and stops the snow from getting in. I’ve been up to my ankles in slush in them and felt nothing. The wool liner is removable so you can slip it on a boot warmer without having to put the whole clunky boot on, that’s a bonus. Stylish and functional and so worth the investment at half the price of my other favorite brand from Maine. Arrived in two days

Sorel winter boots are great. My daughter loves these Caribou boots, and they are toasty warm, water proof etc... everything a Sorel boot is expected to be. However..... My issue is with Amazon Global Store. We purchased 2 sizes to get the right fit and plans to return one pair of the boots. One of the boots was sourced from Amazon Global Store UK for USA delivery (free on Prime). Unfortunately, that pair of boots, from Amazon Global Store UK, was the pair we wanted to return. When we printed the return label, it was to go back to the UK (no USA warehouse at Amazon Store?) with no prepay label option. I had to pay for the return, which was quoted $85 via USPS and $135 on UPS. Too expensive (50% to 75% cost of the boots), so we got stuck with those extra boots. I contacted Amazon Customer Services to see if they had a USA domestic location to which I could return the boots. No. Sorry. I did not pick the location from which the boots were sourced, but now I will be very mindful that foreign sourced items under the Amazon Global Store header are prohibitively high cost return items. I had hoped for better return options from Amazon or a workaround. Amazon is typically great at customer service and customer care. Not in this case.

I normally wear a size 10 in women's and ordered at 9 1/2 in these boots. They fit just right enough for one pair of thick socks. I have not had a chance to test them out in cold weather yet because it is 85 degrees right now. But in trying them on they seem extremely warm and I can tell will definitely do the trick. They are heavy, chunky, thick and wide but they are supposed to be!!! They are winter boots people they will keep her feet warm up to -40 degrees. I have many good pair and bad pair of winter boots and I know these are very good. They are also cute for winter or boots. The tongue on the boot is actually sewn together so no snow or water can seep down into the boot to get your feet wet, very well designed. They are extremely comfortable too for winter boots.
