Great Boots. Great warm comfy quality. Even better customer service by Sorel/Backcountry. I ordered a pair of 10 Mens over the holiday sales. I usually wear a 10 to a 10.5. They were unfortunately way too large. I was able to return the large boots to amazon, but amazon would not let me reorder the boots at the cheaper price. I went to a local store, tried on the boots to find my size (I'm a 9 Mens in Sorel boots) I then called Sorel/Backcountry and they allowed me to reorder a smaller size at the same low price I got during the holiday sale and with free shipping! I recommend buying these boots, just be warmed they are big and you might need to order a smaller size. ... show more

We live in CT so Sorels are a must have for our cold and snowy winters. There's isn't another boot like them. Unfortunately we lost 3 pairs in Superstorm Sandy so when i went to replace them and found this new color, my boys were psyched. They are worth twice the price! My husband is normally a size 9.5 but they are only sold in full sizes so i got both a 9+10 so he could try them and he kept the size 9 and said they perfect! ... show more

I've owned a pair of Sorel Caribous since the early 80's. Tied them loose and slipped them on and off for years. Changed the liners 3 times during this period. Feet never got cold even on the coldest days. Got the new boots, tried them on and the fit was perfect. Toes had room for any socks I chose to wear. Temp outside was -5 Fahrenheit and my feet got cold. I was not standing around. Swapped the liners from my old boots which fit perfectly and tried the boots again. Same results. I tried heating the inside of the boots before going out and my feet still got cold. I'd take manufacturing the boots back to Canada where they had the process dialed in. Nice looking boots but cold feet don't work for me, I'm looking for an alternative.... I have gone back to wearing the old boots which have no tread, the outer lining is cracking but they still keep my feet warm. The new boots are lighter, I will give Sorel that. ... show more

It would be ideal if this review took place some months into using them but my early impression is that this is an excellent boot, nicer than what I had expected. They are quite heavy, but you have to expect that in a Pac Boot. The weight means they might not be so good for long distance walking / hiking but for everyday snow use / shoveling they are excellent. The construction is solid and the lining is warm. Finally replaced my Canadian knockoffs with the real thing - Sorel! Seller was great and when I realized the size 10s that I bought were too small they agreed to exchange - no questions asked. BUT here's a trick... The size 10 Sorel boot shell turned out to be the right size for me. It was the size 10 liner that was tight, so I took the size 11 liners from my knockoffs (WHICH I HAD REPLACED WITH SOREL LINERS) and viola! Perfect fit all around. ... show more
