I didn't want to spend a lot of money but wanted something that was sturdy and well cute. LOVE the purple color and the suede fabric is super soft. It went together easily and seems to be sturdy and so far is perfect for my needs. I don't really need the storage but seriously it's a bonus to have. When first opened I thought it might not be as sturdy as stated but after folding out the sides and putting the top on it certainly was! My kids danced on it (they use it as a stage lol) while I sat on the edge- collectively 300+ lbs. It didn’t budge or whine at all. Perfect toy box for my daughter’s stuff- lots of space. The purple is gorgeous and fun- would buy again!

This bench has provided more uses than I even knew I needed. Originally, I bought this bench just for the added storage. I wanted it so I'd finally have a place to store all my bulky sweaters. Not only does it fit all my sweaters, but it is a great way to have additional seating in my room and I can use it as a table-top or footrest! When the package arrived, I couldn't believe how compact the bench was. Assembly takes all of three seconds, and it's completely self-explanatory. You unpack, unfold, and cover. It's so simple. I ordered the medium bench in teal and I am so happy with my purchase! I was able to fit all my sweaters in it perfectly, which were previously being inconveniently stored in 2 separate Ziploc XL Vacuum seal bags (I have A LOT of sweaters). Even completely full, the bench is still lightweight enough to move around my room however I need. The bench feels completely sturdy when sitting on it. I have no doubts it will easily hold an adult person's weight. The material is soft and comfortable as well. This bench feels like it will definitely last a very long time. I would recommend this product to anyone!

This was super easy to put together. They say it can hold up to 370 lbs -- I would mistrust that. They don't tell you what it's made of! I think it's pretty sturdy, but I wouldn't count on it holding up to much abuse for too long. It folds and has a sturdy "board" to put in the bottom and the top holds everything in place. I put it at the foot of my bed to help my dog get onto the bed (it's great for that!) and also to sit on occasionally when I'm dressing;. It doesn't wobble when I sit gently on it. It holds a lot for its size. I bought a "used-like new" one and it had noticeable damage on one corner of the lid. Hardly like new. But, for my needs, I decided to keep it and just turn that side to the bed.

These are freakin' awesome!! I purchased two of these for toy overflow in our living room and they are fabulous. I like that they can be used for additional seating (within reason - an average size adult can sit on this without any issues) and the color is true to the picture. These are very light so they can be easily lifted or slid across the floor. In fact, our 18 month old slides these around quite easily. They also look very nice and they're good quality. I was a little worried they would look cheap, but they really don't. They cubes arrive flat. You unfold them, insert the support into the bottom and apply the lid so set up takes like 2 minutes. The fabric is soft, supple and quite comfortable to sit on. They do attract fur, if you have furbabies, but it comes off easily with a lint roller. I would definitely recommend this product.

Purchased the large bin in beige and love it. I store a lot of odds and ends in it, haven't used it for sitting yet. Very spacious inside as well. The divider is their if you need it but doesnt necessarily increase stability. The stability is provided by the board placed flat on the bottom of the storage bench as well as the extra sturdy lid that's placed on top. It comes in a pretty large box so just know that if you're someone that has to haul this up several flights of stairs (apt dweller here *raises hand) If/when I move I'll likely unpack what's in here and collapse it down again. I don't know if I 100% trust that the bottom won't get somewhat destroyed under the weight of everything I have during a move and I'd hate to ruin this bench because it's so pretty. All in all worth the $. Not very tall if you're planning on sitting in this to put your shoes on or finished getting dressed. Certainly to low to the ground for that. But hands down for decorative purposes I'd definitely purchase another.

I bought my first one in teal for my bedroom for storing my comforter and bedding sets. I’m able to get 3-4 complete bedding sets in one chest if I use vacuum storage bags. I love the color of that one so much that I bought a second exactly like it. Not only is it good for storage, but it’s great as a bench, too. It holds two adults easily without a problem. I’m currently buying a third to use as a coffee table for my living room. Because it’s such a soft fabric, however, I’m going to put a piece of plexiglass on it to protect it and make a more durable and level surface. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs extra storage space that is attractive and versatile.

I can honestly say, this is one of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon (and I shop here a lot:-) I had been looking for an Ottoman that could be used as a bench/storage unit, as well as a place that I could temporarily set my “barely worn” clothes on, instead of said clothes, ending up in the hamper, or piled up on the floor;-) With that said, when the Ottoman arrived I immediately knew it was good quality just by the weight of the box. Upon opening the box, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful well made fabric. The Teal color was gorgeous, and extremely soft, not to mention the set up took all of 2 minutes, if that. Once set up, my husband and I both sat on it, and we literally didn’t even make a dent in it. We’re not the tallest couple, but you can’t deny the sturdiness of the Ottoman. Going forward, We’re so pleased with our purchase, that we’re currently picking out more Ottomans to buy from Sorbus for the rest house:-)
