Very sturdy. I have used them for wind chimes and lights in my garden. Easy to assemble. Material is black and thick. I have less that 5 pound objects hanging from them. However they may hold twice that.

The items came rusting at the screw site. I regretfully ignored this and decided to still put them together because I was so excited about hanging my flowers. I started screwing them together and then decided I wanted to make them a little lower and that’s when I ran into problem two that may be due to the rust. Unscrewing a couple of them was borderline impossible. I decided to just make it work. I just did them at different heights. But then I woke up to 3 of them leaning onto the ground this morning. The stability, versatility after put together and sturdiness added with the material coming rusted makes this a 1 star for me. I’m just over it now. I wanted to return it but it requires me boxing them and I can’t get some of them unscrewed to even put it in the original box. So I just waisted $34 on this product. ... show more

Cheap. Okay, they weren't expensive, but these are really cheap. Poor quality control, do not go together very well, screws easily cross tread and strip. Just a cheap, foreign made product. You get what you pay for. I'll keep, would not recommend.

The instructions for assembly appear at 1st glance that there are components to build 1 hook. The set does make 4 hooks. Each hook has 4 parts to screw together. You can adjust the finished height by how many straight sections you use. The materials included are based on 2 straight sections per hook. You can assemble it with 1 straight section if you want a shorter hook. I don’t think I would use more than 3 sections if I wanted a taller hook. I think they are sturdy enough for a bird feeder or relatively light pot. I would suggest caution if you have a heavy pot. ... show more
