Bought these to help with a cold cement basement floor. They look great and keep the cold insulated while providing a bit of cushioning to allow the baby to play without me worrying about them falling and getting hurt. The foam is dense and so far pretty waterproof with spills being able to be wiped up easily. To top it off the wood grain looks great and while there is the puzzle type connections they're fairly seamless. It is though a bit slippery if you're only in socks and if you want to put a carpet on top I suggest getting some carpet tape to keep things in place.

I like the look! I want all of the pieces with the grain going in the same direction however, no matter how hard I try I always end up with one end that doesn’t have a matching end piece. I’ve approached it haphazardly as well as if I were putting together a floor puzzle. This is very very frustrating!!!!!!!

These are great! Bought them for my baby's playroom and I love them! They're not too thick but they pad the floor just enough so that I'm not constantly worried about him hitting his head. Reasons for four starts instead of five- they don't all fit together perfectly. Some have bigger gaps while some fit real snug. They also puncture quite easy. My 70 lb dog can poke a hole in them with her nails if she's playing in that room. But for a room that's going to get torn up from kids, they're perfect!

I put this in my basement sewing room/office/lounge. Tile on top of concrete should be replaced and was cold. This was the perfect solution. My baby’s hands don’t get freezing cold from playing on the floor. She’s happy longer while I sew. I found it a bit slippery. But we haven’t had issues so far. The cat also likes it.

Do not waste your money -- these are garbage. I bought five packs to do the floor of my trade show booth. They looked nice right out of the package, but less than FOUR hours after putting them down, they were disintegrating, coming apart, and probably worst of all, the edges were curling up creating a trip hazard. I vend at large multi-day events 4-6 times a year, and four years ago I bought similar mats of a different brand (we sell mats, which also sells on amazon). I have used those mats repeatedly over those four years and they were still in excellent shape, but I wanted to change the color to update my booth appearance. I bought these Sobus mats thinking they were essentially the same as what I had. I was wrong. My first set of mats from 'we sell mats' fit together better, and would easily stay together and lay perfectly flat through a 3-4 day show without any problem. They were not damaged by display fixtures, wheelchairs or high heeled shoes. The Sorbus mats didn't fit together tightly and the edge pieces didn't want to stay on -- I was constantly having to put them back in place. Less than four hours after opening these and putting them in my booth, an edge piece tore in half just from a customer walking across it with a shuffling gait. I replaced the edge piece, and then noticed that the tiles were curling along the edges, even though the weather conditions were mild. Photos taken at this point, after four hours indoor use on a 70 degree day in May My 'we sell mats' flooring NEVER curled or tore even after four years of repeated heavy use. The curling edges of the Sorbus mats caused numerous customers to stumble slightly, making them potentially dangerous as well. I was soon wishing I had not put these down at all as I think bare concrete would have been less potentially hazardous. At the end of the event when we took down the displays and packed up the Sorbus flooring, the imprint of our racks and tables was clearly left in the tiles, breaking through the top printed layer of the foam (this didn't happen on 'we sell mats' mats). THE ONLY REASON I didn't put these Sorbus mats directly in the trash is because I'm sending them back for a refund. Save yourself the hassle and steer clear of these -- there are much better tiles out there for around the same price.
