A 10 year old can put any of the designs together which indicates the ease of use as well as well designed instructions. The robots come out small, very small, but the kids had a lot of fun putting it together and apart snd then trying another design. Would buy again if it was bigger sized.

Bought for my son (10 years old) because he enjoyed his lego robotics class. The concept is cool but the solar panel came damaged so it doesn't work (used a battery to confirm the gears were properly placed and it ran fine). It wasn't damaged during shipping as the box wasn't damaged when it arrived. But now I'll have to figure out how to attach a battery to it so my son can use it. He's mildly disappointed because of the solar panel issue but fine because I'll come up with a way for it to use a battery. ... show more
