  • Exceeded expectations, but I didn't use it for flooring...
Size: 36 Tiles Color: Cotton
So I bought these to use for a furniture makeover. Backstory: I have two older Ikea Kallax units in black that I was repurposing from one room to another -- I needed to lighten them up a lot, because I was moving them from bedroom storage to living room storage, and my living room is not big. If I'd have left them black, they'd have shrunk the feel of the room and would look hideous. At first, I considered painting them, but that's messy, the weather is wet and rainy for long stretches, so spray painting outside was out -- no way I was building a tent big enough to contain the spray for something as large as an 8 cube kallax. I then considered wallpaper -- but cutting patterened wallpaper can be tricky for something like a kallax, because if you don't line it up right, it looks terrible. So then, I thought, what about a faux laminating job with peel and stick flooring?? I then set out to find the thinnest peel and stick floor tiles that I could that also came in a light enough color -- I found these, in the color "cotton". This color is basically a really nice warm light gray with darker tones mixed in. Yeah, painting would have cost less, but... the look I got with these is nothing short of stunning -- once I finish re-doing the rest of the room, it'll look amazing. These tiles were easy to cut, easy to stick -- and re-positionable. I laid these out on the frame of the kallax first. Sides, top, then cut them using my leather strap cutter into strips to cover the frame in the front (to do long, straight cuts down the length of a plank, a strap cutter makes fast easy work of it!). I left the back uncovered -- no one's going to see it. Once that was done, it was time to figure out what to do with the door and drawer faces I had on some of the cubes -- I decided to do a chevron pattern, and OMG, I couldn't be happier with how it turned out (see photos). I was able to cut these with my Silhouette die cutting machine into pieces custom designed to make the chevron pattern on the doors and drawer faces. Ratchet blade, longest blade depth (probably overkill), max pressure on the Cameo 3, speed of 2, single pass. Cut like butter and didn't kill the blade, either. The project has been finished for about a week and nothing is peeling off. I made sure to clean each surface carefully right before beginning to stick the tiles down, and the whole thing was easy peasy! I'd possibly consider this stuff for nice looking temporary flooring, too. Not sure how well it'd hold up to high foot traffic in the long term, but damn it looks pretty good right out of the box. I'll let my finished project photos speak for themselves, though. All in all, excellent product for a different purpose than intended! ... show more

  • Great Product
Nice thickness. Great color. You can feel the texture! Easy to clean. Great to work with. If you have to pull it up and readjust you can do so without ripping it. It took me a minute to get the hang of it but once I got into a groove it was fairly easy. I had people over and they couldn’t believe that it came off a roll and that I was able to install it by myself. (FYI I installed the floor on top of an existing outdated tile floor) Highly recommend this product! ... show more

  • Very easy to install
Size: 36 Tiles Color: Cotton
I love absolutely love it! I spent $50 (sale). The hardest part of the installation was around the toilet. So I would start near that area if you are installing this in a bathroom. I ordered 36pcs and I think about 11 were left over. They come rolled up in a pack but once you unroll them and place somewhere heavy on top for an hour, it flattens out. Make sure to lay them out on the floor to see which way you like best before you install. The adhesion worked well. Before you do anything make sure the floors are swept, washed and dried. If the floors aren’t clean they will not stick. Anyone who complained about it not sticking, was probably because the surface wasn’t clean. They also specify what it will not stick to. They are thin but it won’t matter once it’s installed. We’re trying to sell our home so it definitely saved us from spending hundreds of dollars for new flooring. We are happy with the results and love the color and the way it looks. I would definitely purchase it again! ... show more

  • Great for rental property
Size: 36 Tiles Color: Dustgray
I rent, so updating my kitchen was pricey for other flooring; this is easy to use and priced right. Be sure your underfloor is CLEAN to get a good stick. A suggested process, flip design for a more random floor pattern…looks awesome!

  • Easy color change
Size: 12 Tiles Color: Winter
We are renting our house and hated the bamboo flooring. We did the kitchen, foyer and bathroom downstairs for about $225. It was time consuming and the difficulty was exacerbated by the lack of straight walls but in terms of the product installation, it was so easy once you got in a rhythm. It’s very forgiving if you have to pull it up a few times to adjust the shape or position. It’s also really easy to swap out a piece if it becomes damaged. We’ll see how easy it is to pull up when we move but after about 30 days it took very little effort. They don’t move or tweak otherwise so we’re very happy. ... show more

  • Tonos diferentes
Size: 12 Tiles Color: Greyscale
Pedi 2 rollos de 12 tiras cada uno y los tonos de uno de los rollos, son diferentes, eso está muy mal porque se nota la diferencia

  • Great stuff
Size: 4 Tiles Color: Smoke Grey
Bought this to place down on bottom of chicken coop to help with clean up. Adhered to plywood super good! Very good stuff for what I’m using it for. I would probably consider using this for an RV or similar flooring upgrade. Thin but looks and feels nice.

  • Looks good
Size: 36 Tiles Color: Smoke Grey
I (a woman) laid these completely by myself onto concrete floors with no prior remodeling experience. A few of the edges tried to come up, but I did not lay them flat before putting them down, and despite sweeping and mopping, my floors still had some dust (it was in my basement). I used some construction grade gorilla glue to glue the peeled up edges back down. From the before and after pictures you can see it completely transformed the room. They were easy to lay down, cut, and peel up to adjust if needed. Overall, I wouldn’t trust this in a high traffic area or as a longterm solution, but if you need a quick fix (like me because I am selling my house) this is a good solution. My husband said he couldn’t even tell it wasn’t laminate flooring! ... show more
