I’ve used these with students in the past and decided to get some for my niece and daughter at Christmas time. They loved it and they were able to feel like serious artist but on a budget. As an artist myself I will say the quality is pretty decent I would say it’s comparable to General’s drawing materials. I thought the colored pencils were regular colored pencils but turned out to be water color pencils that weren’t half bad. I got this drawing set from my husband for Christmas to return to sketching and drawing. This set has everything I need and the case is so much nicer than I expected. It’s a woven black case that folds in half and zips. Very sturdy.
