Followed the directions and tested the electronics, after putting together most of the build the ring light stopped working. This one requires significantly more glue than my last build and the instructions leave much to be desired. The light quality is low unfortunately.

I love my Soothee puzzle kits, and this one definitely lives up to the standard of the brand. It feels much more like assembling an actual puzzle than dealing with a fussy miniature kit, which is exactly what I want. Most of the pieces snap together easily, there’s minimal glue involved, and the whole process feels relaxing instead of tedious. It’s a good-sized build, too; long enough to feel immersive, but not so complicated that it becomes frustrating. The finished library is beautiful. The two-level design with the curved staircases gives it real depth, and the tall bookshelves make it feel grand without being over-the-top. My favorite detail is the tree on the upper level. It adds warmth and softness to the space and gives the whole scene a calm, thoughtful vibe that feels perfect for a library setting. It makes me wish I could actually go to this place! Everything comes together in a really satisfying way, with each step revealing more of the structure. I didn’t run into any missing pieces, and the details are polished without being overwhelming. You definitely get that “okay, I actually built something impressive” feeling when it’s done. I have a couple of these kits displayed and people definitely ooh and aah over them when they see them, and even more so when I tell them that I put them together. My only reason for knocking off a star is that a few of the smaller decorative pieces don’t fully snap into place and just rest on the shelves. They look great once positioned, but I’d recommend using a couple of sticky dots or superglue if you want everything to stay put long term. Overall, this is a slow, cozy, rewarding build with a refined end result. I’m excited to display it in my office, and it would make a really lovely gift for book lovers or anyone who enjoys thoughtful DIY projects.
