If you’re thinking about getting it, just get it! Read a couple of mixed reviews, and some saying issues with the lining or zipper, but so far I’ve had none of those issues. The lining doesn’t cover the entire inside of the skirt, but that’s not a problem, and I don’t even notice it. Zipper did have a small bit of resistance, but nothing bad. Color and weight are perfect, very cozy for fall and winter. Paired with a black turtleneck long sleeve and it’s the perfect academia outfit ❤️

Female, height 5'7", weight 265 lbs, measurements 54-48-54 bust-waist-hip. I ordered a 3X in solid black and it fits nicely. It does have a side-zip but it was unnecessary to unzip it to get it on; the waistband is stretchy enough to slide it over my hips and get it on. It is a tad shorter on me than I would have liked, sitting at my natural waist it is about 2 inches above ankle height so it gets dinged a star for that. I will allow that I do have slightly longer legs than normal (normal length jeans have a similar problem), so women for whom normal-length things hit their ankle should have a nice ankle-length skirt with the waistband at the natural waist. Otherwise, the fabric weight is a nice heavy wool blend with a synthetic lining and it does have side pockets large enough to accommodate a 6.4" phone in a wallet case without any issue. It would make a nice fall/winter skirt for most, and I will be keeping mine.

I am a vintage dresser of the 1940s & very early 50s.. This is a wonderful skirt! Fits well & long! The only thing is it comes with no washing instructions. I'm assuming dry clean because of the wool & lining.

I am 5'3" and weigh 140 lbs. when I read the description the measurements were a bit confusing so I opted to buy a large because I don't like anything tight around my waist. (I typically wear a medium.) I was glad to have the large because I would say the skirt runs a tad small but with the elastic waist it wasn't at all tight. The skirt is an a-line so it fits generously around the hip, which is good for me since I'm a small person but curvy. The description said 'long' but the length was perfect; long enough to cover boots and hit at the right spot above my ankle but not long enough that I had to shorten it. For a petite person, it's a maxi skirt rather than a midi. It is lined and has pockets. The fabric is very thick so it's good for very cold weather - if you live in a warm climate or have very few cold days, it may be too thick. Also, the thickness adds bulk so if you are curvy like me, it may make your hips look a bit curvier. Since I needed the skirt for being outside on a cold day dressed up, it's just right. The beige/navy/orange plaid is a nice combination of colors and looks very stylish.

Thicker material so definitely a fall/winter skirt. Not super “flowy” but makes sense because of the material. Also a plus since the wind won’t really be able to blow the skirt up causing a Marilyn Monroe situation. Zipper seems a little weak like it might give out after a while but hasn’t since I got it. Runs small to so I’d recommend getting a size up if you can. I usually have some room in a 3X and this is tight. I’m 5’7 and the bottom of the skirt hits just below mid calf. Pockets are a nice touch. Overall cute skirt. Might buy more if it holds up this fall.

This is a well made skirt. Very heavy and appears to be warm on a frigid winter's day. I'm returning it since xl is too big. I misjudged the sizing. I'm going repurchase after getting the refund. This is not the average skirt but really well made.
