Partly assembled. You open it out, insert the bolts in corners to secure the unit and then use the plastic clips to put the dividers in where you want them. You need a small Phillips screwdriver for the bolts. Metal weight is suitable. Unit doesn't wobble or bend and stacks easily and securely. Metal is finished well so no worries about scratching your handbags. I have three in my closet that hold various sizes of bags. If you have large totes or satchels be sure to measure for fit. I have medium sized shoulder bags and crossbody bags, and they fit well in the organizer. Would recommend as a good way to organize bags on shelves or on the floor.

I purchased this to organize my purses. It was very easy to assemble (and break down for a move). It's a sturdy product; I stacked two on top of each other at one point before downsizing my handbags. I had it on top of a typical wire closet shelf and it was fine. Currently, I have it on top of an Ikea Kallax unit. I had a mixture of small, flat/thin bags and larger, firm bags... and it holds quite a few bags. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I’m am so glad I purchased. I bought this item and a three tiers shoe rack and together my bags are finally nice and neatly organized. Worth every penny. Fits some bags perfectly. There are removable dividers that I could have removed in order for my bags to fit. That’s why I purchased the shoe rack to hold what didn’t fit. Very pleased.

I love this thing. I have so many purses, and while not all of them fit in this, that's only because I have more purse than I have storage. This was super easy to put together, and I can adjust it for the big-bottomed bags so easily. This sits on my closet floor so well, and it's really easy to see what purses I have. I organized them by style, and I was able to fit probably 75% of them into this organizer. If I had more space in my apartment, I would buy another one of these. It's holding up really well to the big bags and the small ones.
