  • Not top of the line earphones, but great for the price point.
The earphones are great! I love the compact size. The fact that they are over the ear is a great for me and what I was looking for in a wireless pair of earphones. The sound and volume is great. I'm sure you did not just look at this review for the great points, so while they fit what I was looking for they do have some short comings. I wish they fit completely over the ear. Unless you have tiny ear they don't. If you are looking for noise canceling earphones these are not them, although if you turn the volume up they do cancel out everything else. However the other issue comes out. I like my music loud, and these allow a lot of bleed over of sound if the sound is turned up as loud as I like (so others will hear some sound). The volume is outstanding though as mentioned at the outset. They are a great set of headphones I use them throughout the day and have not had them run out of battery power yet on me I charge them at the end of the night. It would be nice to have a battery meter on them to know how much "juice" they have left. That way I'm not charging them to frequently and harshly treating the battery with unnecessary charging. They have worked great at the gym, and are easy to clean and wipe after a workout. No issues with sweat and humidity of the gym after a couple of months of use. I like the fold down design. It could be better if they folded down instead of just rotating flat to be even smaller. However they fit fine in a backpack. The conclusion is that while they are not perfect and have they some short comings, they check all of the boxes that I need, long battery life, over the ear design, good for working out at the gym, outstanding volume, and sleek design for easy storage. ... show more

  • About what I expected, good quality Sony. Fits my HUGE head better than I thought it would.
Honestly these are pretty good. Keep in mind you are paying extra for that SONY brand name, but the quality is there. The sounds quality seems to have improved after 5-6 hours of use (pretty normal actually for headphones). Pretty comfy for on ear headphones. I have a very large head (no, like seriously though I do) and these are the best fitting headphones I have ever used in this price range. Literally every pair of headphones I have ever used in my entire life (yes, seriously) I have HAD to max out the band to the max length, and about half the time it fits and the other times, still too tight lol. These fit very nice at the max setting, and after about 2 weeks of heavy use seemed to have gotten a little larger/more comfy (breaking in?) and now I like them even more!!! I got them on sale for like $20 below MSRP, and for that price I am very satisfied. At full MSRP ($59), I would still like them but wouldn't be quite as satisfied I think. But hey... Overall I am happy. Build quality is what I'd say is "good enough" for what these are listed for. Certainly not cheap feeling at all. Overall, would recommend. Side note: Keep in mind these are ON EAR not OVER EAR headphones, so they sort of sit on top of the ear. Still comfy though, and helps keep my head/ears cooler than traditional over ear headphones. Also makes it a little easier to hear what's going on around me, which I like. These don't cancel out much noise at all, but they weren't designed to nor are they marketed as such. Actually these let in a fair level of outside noise, which again I actually really like. Helps me feel safer. Have a great day! If this review helped you, I would very much appreciate a "helpful" vote ;) thank you! ... show more

  • Good Function Marred by Discomfort
Pros: 1) Long battery Life 2) Competitive price for the sound it produces 3) Easy Pairing 4) Adequate but not super bluetooth range Cons: 1) Uncomfortable and sweaty 2) Takes too long to charge and can't be used while charging 3) Can't use aux cable - combine with inability to use while charging -----> Poor choice for long trips, especially if not fully charged. Also, for planes, consider #4 con 4) No active noise cancellation 5) Cheap build quality Very good sound with bass bias and excellent battery life and easy pairing. Cheap feel/build quality and very slow to charge. Lack of adjustability makes these uncomfortable to the point of pain. I also find it hard to distinguish the location of the buttons and often skip ahead when I am just trying to adjust the volume. It would be nice if there was some sort of audible battery level indicator or even a graphic one (there is a graphical one only on iPhone, nothing for Android). There is an LED flash pattern at power on telling you the level, but none available during use. You need to plan ahead as it takes 4.5 hours to charge and it cannot be used during charging. On top of that, you can't use them passively with an aux cable. When it's dead, it's a paperweight. ... show more

  • Comfortable daily headphones
I've had these 3 years. These are my first wireless headphones. I was leery at first but went for it because my husband had them and loved them. Two years after getting these I replaced the ear pads, very easy to replace. The covering on the ear pads had separated. This didn't affect the sound quality or comfort; it was more cosmetic. Happened to my husband's headphones too, but he didn't mind it so didn't replace them. I use them to watch videos on my phone, listening to music, and talking on the phone while doing housework and chores. I love they are lightweight, and I can't really hear noise around me when wearing them. The earpieces swivel outward, so they lay flat and fit better into the hard sided carrying case I bought for them. I do have kids, so I usually leave one side slightly off my ear so I can hear them. If they're standing in front of me speaking normally, I just hear a low murmur, not any actual words. It's nice to have a play/pause and volume buttons on the headphones themselves. I can wear them to bed and lay on my side and it still be comfortable. TIP: don't leave them hanging off a table by the earpiece, they will stretch out and become loose. I put them in the hard sided case, and they went back to their original size, but not going to do it again. ... show more
