Functionality is what makes these headphones so great. They sound the best with the PlayStation features, get the loudest compared to other headsets and have an pretty good adjustable mic. Connectivity is the best, no latency, lag, or sound issues when playing, listening to music etc. Game, chat, and music volume is adjustable - I feel like I can hear everything clearly even with different audio on simultaneously. The material on the ear cushions seems like it’s a little better than the pulse 3D headphones and hopefully won’t decay. The Battery life is great. I feel like they turn off with the console, which is a great QoL feature or a misperception that is testament to how good the battery is. They are comfortable since they kind of just lightly sit on your head - however There isn’t as much grip on your head as the PlayStation pulse 3D, + it’s a pretty large headset and it can feel loose on your head if you have an animated reaction. My only complaints are that the buttons to control game vs chat volume don’t feel as intuitive as the Pule 3D, and I feel like the volume dial is lower quality than the buttons. You need a USB port to house the connector which is annoying if you already have a bunch of stuff plugged into your system. I also feel like this will prevent the headset from wirelessly pairing with the PlayStation portal, but we will see. The media could not be loaded. This headset so far I think is probably one of the most comfortable headsets I have purchased so far. The cushion on the ears makes it hard to hear myself but it still drowns out most sounds in my environment. Do keep it clean as possible as surfaces may scratch off from it and all you need is to wipe it off simply. Not a big problem at all. I can also rest it flat on my desk due to rotation of the ear muffs on the headset. At first I was confused to why I read reviews on the quietness until I figured out the volume control is different than the one on the device you’re using. So I would have to put the HEADSET VOLUME to MAXIMUM and adjust my COMPUTER’S VOLUME TO AS NEEDED and same for my Mobile Device (iOS). I can listen to both my PC and phone at the same time through my headset as I multitask which is a huge bonus. I think the best part of the headset is the mic quality as it has automatic noise supression which makes me sound super clear without any background noise which is a shocker. I own a Snowball Blue Yeti Mic and everything is captured on that mic but not with this headset’s mic. I don’t really capture loud noises such as barking, yelling, and other sounds going around the house. I have had no issues with it so far other than learning to connect it to my devices and will continue to use this headset in the future! ... show more

I have a lot of headphones, pulse 3D, Astros, Audioquest Nighthawks, Surface headphones 2, Logitech something or other and I must say these are BY FAR the lightest and most comfortable over ear headphones I have ever worn. I picked the h7's for a good set of headphones for my ps5 and for my laptop and so far I am not disappointed. Sound quality wise I feel like it's a slight step up from the pulse, but I feel like the directional imaging of the pulse 3d still make that a better headset for ps5 gaming if that is your only device, however if you plan on using this for PC or a ps5/pc combo I highly recommend. I think out of the new inzone products the H7 is the true sweetspot, with 40hours of battery life and good sound output and improved controls over the pulse 3d this is a good bang for the buck proposition. For me personally I don't like active noise canceling as it feels like it gives me pressure on my head when I turn it on, but if that is important for you go with the H9's reviews have been favorable and compared the noise cancelling of the h9's with sony's other 300-400 dollar headphones. PC software suite gives you a lot of control over this device as does the phone app and bluetooth, it will allow you to connect to your phone and to the device you have your dongle plugged into at the same time. Anyway go ahead and get it if you enjoy gaming and are in the market for a new headset, Mic quality is decent but won't blow anyone away with it's clarity. ... show more

    • The Comfiest Headset You’ll Ever Own
I’ve had the Sony InZone H7 headphones for a few years now and I can honestly say that they’re the best set of headphones I’ve ever owned. I appreciate that they can connect via the dongle and Bluetooth at the same time. They are incredibly comfortable, which comes in clutch for long gaming sessions That said, my only complaint is that the headband keeps falling apart. It seems the glue that holds the pleather to the foam and the foam to the plastic is not very good.     • It's pretty good, except for how it looks and its size
Great sound quality, comfortable (it's light and has very low clamp force -- though than means it's loose fitting), mic is pretty good, and simultaneous BT & 2.4 connection. Yes, simultaneous BT & 2.4 means you can listen to audio on your PC and your connected Bluetooth device (e.g. watching YT on iPad) at the same time with the audio mixed together. This is the main reason I got this headset and it performs great on this front. My iPad is basically my second monitor playing YouTube all the time and it's great to be able to listen to both my PC and iPad at the same time. With that out of the way, the headset is HUGE, and it looks dumb due to its size. If you don't want to look silly, I'd really recommend looking elsewhere. ... show more
