Description

The 35mm F1.4 GM features a superior optical design, including two XA (Extreme Aspherical) elements and an ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass element that deliver outstanding corner-to-corner resolution, even wide open. The 11-blade circular F1.4 aperture mechanism creates beautiful bokeh that is a hallmark of the G Master series. Fast focusing is attained through the XD (Extreme Dynamic) linear focus drive system. This lens sports class-leading size and weight, providing great handling and mobility.

This lens is a perfect fit for my A7CR - fast, optically fantastic, lightweight (relatively speaking), well-built, and compact. So sharp it is ridiculous. Autofocus is spot on and very fast paired with the aforementioned camera. This was the first lens I purchased with my recent camera equipment refresh cycle and would likely be my choice if I had only one lens. The fast aperture allows very low light work and the lens performs so well wide open. Let me say this, I don't like spending much money. But ive decided to pick up photography as a new recent hobby and after upgrading from a iPhone 11 Pro. I purchased a Sony a7c and this lens. coming from someone that knows absolutely nothing about these types of cameras and settings. I was a bit afraid spending this much Money to get into the hobby ( I don't enjoy upgrading once I get use to something so I decided to go all out at first). first off this lens is AMAZING. Focus is amazing, weight is amazing. it is a great lens for everything I throw at it. I mostly take car photography and street. After taking a few hours watching videos on this lens and how to use it. ive taken some great pictures. I lent my setup to my buddy that takes pictures professionally and he was blown away by its performance. Great lens. Don't worry about the price. You will not regret your purchase one bit. Arguably one of the greatest lenses to get. Very versatile, excellent image, and very well built. If you’re shooting video, the autofocus can almost be too quick - resulting in the focus jumping around a bit. Still a phenomenal lens.
