  • A way cheaper c800g
This Mic is by far the best one for my vocals and I own some pretty good and expensive mics….when I use it I feel like the vocals do not need much work to fit into the mix. Paired with my Avalon 737 pre…it sounds very similar to the Sony c800g at 25x less the price….definitely the favorite mic I own

  • Pretty High-quality for $500
I was looking to upgrade my home studio, but found most mics that were better than what I had were pretty expensive, and outside of my budget at the moment, the Sony C80 is pretty dang good for the price, definitely an upgrade, I'm officially a Sony fan when it comes to Microphones now!
