I was very surprised when I received this case. I took a chance in buying it as I never heard of the manufacturer. What I didn't expect was the nice matt rubber edging on the case that gives it a nonslip quality that has a nice feel. It also has a raised edge around the camera lens area which I love. The lens on the iPhone 14 are really up high and I was worried about scratching them. This case keeps them from doing that. The buttons work great as well. The only negative is that I wish it was a bit lighter in color. Today it paid for itself when the ring on the back let loose and the phone went flying while I was out for a walk. It’s as it is in the picture, it’s a darker finish which is nice. The area around my camera lenses is raised which I like seems like it’ll do a good job of protecting them if dropped. It was a tight fit! Don’t think it’ll be easy to remove! The edges around the front screen are slightly raised as well, which is what I look for in a case so I’m happy. I bought this case for my new iPhone 14 Pro Max about a year ago. I have dropped my phone more times in the last year than with all my other phones combined. My husband and I both agree there is something about this case that doesn’t allow for a good grip. And having dropped my phone that many times, I now have a huge crack running along the back of my phone. The case has not protected it at all. I have NEVER cracked or chipped any of my smart phones over the 15 years I’ve had iPhones. I did not purchase Apple care extended coverage because I’ve never needed it. Very cute case, it looks just like the photo. I personally like it a lot because it feels like my phone has no case at all and it’s lightweight. But there’s not much screen protection. The case hardly sits above the screen. Overall though, I’m happy with my purchase.
