Power Press once to turn the tuner on or off. The tuner always powers up in Auto Tuning mode. Pitch calibration and manual tuning settings are not retained after powering off. Pitch Calibration Press the Pitch button to adjust the tuner reference from 433 Hz to 447 Hz. Manual Tuning Mode Press the Note button to cycle through the following notes for manual tuning: C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, G, G#, A, A#, B To return to Auto Tuning mode, press the Power button to exit and restart the tuner. so I’m 51 and been playing music guitar, drums, keys etc…. this is the first time I’ve ever purchased a guitar and out of the box with a simple tuning played absolutely flawless. then, with a dialed in set up, new string, I’d match it with a 4 figure guitar easily in its size and scale. On the next string change I will swap out the nut and bridge for more resonance that can only bring out its character. Maybe upgrade the tuners but honestly the tuners a solid and stay put. even if you buy it as a camp fire guitar you won’t wanna use it for that because it’s really a lovely and well put together piece. And the kicker it’s a Chinese guitar. With all that said, I may have just gotten lucky but with its pre amp and a decent set up it’s in my opinion a prime performance piece and a worthy stage companion in all genres of classical to flamenco and folk. Dimond in the rough. Best kept sleeper on the acoustic market hands down. ... show more

    • Very easy classical type guitar to play
Very nice I guess it is a 7/8 guitar 12th fret action was about 3 mm I popped the saddle out sanded it a bit it's down to 2 mm no fret buzz plays and sounds good one or two Sharp fret edges very happy with my purchase

This guitar arrived very well packaged and with only a hex wrench to adjust the truss rod and a nine volt battery for the electronics. The guitar is very attractive, as you can see from the photos. And as one who has nerve damage in my fretting hand, I really appreciate that this guitar is a lot friendlier to play than the usual classical. It's sized more like a smaller acoustic, even though the bone nut is a hair over 48mm. The neck is very comfortable to play. And even though It came with the neck perfectly straight, I adjusted the truss rod just to see if it worked, and it worked just fine. The fretwork is excellent. The frets are polished and there are no high frets. The fret ends were not the least bit sharp. The nut is cut very well. The preamp works well and the guitar sounds great plugged both acoustically and plugged in. And the integrated tuner is wonderful. I have been disappointed in most tuners on acoustic-electric guitars. This may be the best one I've tried. I checked it with my industrial grade tuner and it was spot on. I have been playing this guitar around the house for a week now, and it's never gone out of tune. I stretched the strings twice, and have not had to do anything since to keep it in tune. Just wonderful. This is not a high end guitar, but for a budge guitar, I don't think you can do much better. And for the current coupon price of just under 160 dollars this is an outstanding value for money. ... show more

This classical guitar is actually a fine instrument. I’ve been playing guitar for 30 years or more and while it’s not a Martin or a Taylor, it is definitely a nice sounding and surprisingly well-made, classical guitar. The nylon strings that it comes with are actually pretty good, which is not something I am used to saying. The electric side of the guitar is equally as impressive, and sounds really good. I also love the fact that not only did they include a nine-volt battery, but it has a built-in chromatic tuner that can be utilized to tune the guitar for the first time. Excellent. I have to say that this classical guitar is a huge value for the money. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert or someone who has never played a classical guitar before, this is your best bet. Sonicake has surprised me repeatedly with some of their instruments and effects products. This is certainly a shining example. ... show more
