I originally got this because I wanted a bench seat at the foot of my bed that I could use to put on my shoes (or for my kids to sit on when they wander into my room), but it now has a secondary purpose as quilt storage. It is large, so it holds a lot of quilts, and sturdy so I know everything is safe in there. The fabric is nice and soft and the cushion is firm. My biggest issue with it is that the lid doesn't have any hinges. You have to pull it all the way off if you want to put anything in or pull anything out. Still, it looks very nice and I am happy to have it as part of my bedroom set.

I got this ottoman to put at the end of my bed to store extra blankets and to have a little bench to sit on in the morning when I put my socks on when I get dressed. First off it comes well packaged. Once I got it open and spread out all the parts I read through the instructions and it was very easy to figure out. It's extremely easy to put together. Whenever I get something that needs assembly it always takes me a while but this took me less than fifteen minutes to put together. Once you get the frame put together there is a fabric slip cover you pull over the frame. I saw that in the listing photos so I was worried it might sit loose looking on the frame but that was not the case. It pulls over very tight. There's the outside fabric that shows and like a pouch that inserts into the frame that's black. Then there are these black Velcro straps that go around the frame bars underneath to pull and hold the outer fabric tight to the frame. So once you have the fabric cover on the frame you insert this flat almost cardboard like base piece inside the ottoman that works as the floor base to the storage. My only gripe with this product is that flat base piece is not wood. It's thin, floppy and has the same black fabric over it as the inner pouch. I have a young daughter that likes to play on everything and climb inside things so if one were to stand inside this ottoman that base piece would not hold their weight and bend inward. So I have to keep my eye on my daughter when she's around it. Now the top that goes on the ottoman is extremely sturdy and can hold plenty of weight. My daughter climbed on it almost immediately and stood on it and laid across it. I even sat on it several times and it's designed to hold weight. Once completely assembled it looks great! It's very fancy looking and looks perfect at the end of my bed. Something important to point out is that the top does not have hinges. To be honest I prefer that because again I have a young child and I don't have to worry about her lifting it and it slamming down on her or getting her hands pinched in it. Because it doesn't lift on hinges and has to be lifted off she's less likely to mess with lifting it because it's heavier to open for a child. As for storage it's a decent amount of space. It's not extremely wide but I was still able to store the several blankets I wanted to put in there with some extra space left over. Overall I couldn't be happier with this ottoman. It looks great and it's sturdy. For the price I'd say it's definitely worth it. I've seen some really expensive ottomans out there and this one is affordable and looks just as good. I'd definitely recommend it!

This is even more gorgeous in person. It was very easy to assemble and seems to be great quality. The storage is large and so is the bench. I use mine as a piano bench. Holding sheet music, etc. It looks stunning up next to my little piano.

I thought it would be delivered already put together like my other similar bench. I also thought it was solid but the sides are cloth and the lid is not hinced. It is very inconveniet to store items because you have to lift the seat completely off and it's the heaviest part of the bench. It was not that difficult to assemble however I am quite old and had to have help. It looks a lot better than it is.

I was reluctant to build this ottoman bench but it was actually super easy to put together and it looks better than expected. It has a very stable frame and top, I do wish it was hinged but it's not a game changer. It's going in the spare room to hold the bedding and pillows for the sofa bed and it's perfect.
