All the pictures show these shelves in a cabinet to create more space. But I have used them in my kitchen window (very deep sill) to "store" some dishes which are as decorative as they are useful. I have very little cabinet storage space, and some stuff just "needs" to be in the window or stored in the basement. These work really nicely and have allowed me to stack and stagger the heights. The box showed up on time and had a few extra screws in the bag, which was helpful. The downside. The pre-drilled holes were not well defined in some areas and required extra "umph" effort during assembly. A few of the metal pieces were damaged and their poorly welded seams weren't very sturdy looking Overall. They seem to be able to support the weight in my medicine cabinet but I'm not 100% sure I'd order these ones again due to damages and the poor aesthetic quality some of the pieces came in. They are doing the job I need so I don't think I'll bother with the return process for this. You get what you pay for. ... show more
