I found this easy to assemble, to have a good value, and I liked the paint on the wood because it seemed to have a sheen to it that makes it feel like metal. Although I am not done styling it yet (it is a bit over styled at the moment), this shelf will work. If looking for a basket that is not a cube (see e.g. bottom shelf of my photos), I recommend getting something smaller than 13”x13” because I BELIEVE the 13x13 large target basket I bought did not fit. Needed a plant stand, and this fit my needs perfectly. It is very well-made, assembly is easy, and it is remarkably sturdy. I couldn't be happier. I will probably get a second one, too. Addendum: Got myself that second stand. It's as well-made, sleek and functional as the first. Very useful with a multitude of applications, anywhere dry storage is wanted (i.e., not in the shower). It is extremely well made, easy to assemble, and all the parts fit precisely. Very sturdy item and will be in use for a good long time. (I noticed that there was one reviewer of this item who said it was poorly designed and that the screw holes didn't line up. I have to believe that the reviewer was doing something seriously wrong to mess up the assembly process, for this product is the epitome of 'idiot-proof.') ... show more
