I purchased the lovely white 100% linen tablecloth for Easter and I love it. It is the first linen cloth I have purchased. Our table is 7‘long x 4‘ width. I purchased one of the oversized cloths on this Solino’s Amazon site. It is a 108” x 70” tablecloth. It is perfect for the table. There are no short edges on any side of the table. I washed it on gentle cycle and popped it in the dryer on low heat setting for 20 minutes. It came out a little wrinkled, so I steamed it and put it on top of the table protector immediately. I received many compliments at my Easter luncheon on how beautiful the tablecloth laid and the quality of the linen. I smiled from ear to ear that day so happy that I purchased this linen tablecloth. I absolutely recommend buying this linen cloth even though it was expensive. Like the saying goes you get what you pay for and I believe scored this time. I read some of the negative reviews that spoke about how wrinkled their tablecloth was but I ordered it anyway because honey linen is wrinkled. It has to be steamed to get the wrinkles out so it lays flat. A bit wrinkled is nice when you’re having a dinner or lunch with friends but if you want to have a nice luncheon, you need to steam your linen cloth so it lays properly on the table. I can’t wait to use my new cloth in the years to come. Knowing that it’s only going to get more beautiful the more I use it makes me happy. ... show more

    • A little lightweight, but very nice
I ordered this to use for a family get-together as the formal dining table, and it has worked out quite well. The hemstitching gives a casual vibe that's elevated by the pure linen fiber, and the dark color is less prone to showing stains (though any fabric will show grease if that gets dripped). The size is large, suitable for a 7-8 foot table, making it a great choice for longer rooms or banquets. I love that this is a solid color and can be brightened up for summer with white/pink/yellow or made to suit a holiday table with white and metallic decor. It's also suitable for an engagement dinner or an adult's birthday party (picture it with polka-dot napkins for a woman's 35th or crisp white napkins for grandpa's 80th), and will work well for a celebratory family dinner the next time my son gets a promotion in the Navy as well. It's just a really versatile color and style. It is, however, not as thick as my grandmother's heirloom linen tablecloths, which means it's also not as heavy and the weight can't pull wrinkles out of it when we've had someone seated at the table. That's not a dealbreaker to me, but it is something to note if you want the table to look as good after the meal as before. ... show more

These tablecloths are thinner than cheesecloths. They’re transparent. They are flimsy, and despite vigorous ironing they are saturated with wrinkles. Even starch doesn’t work. Even dry cleaning doesn’t help. I have used them twice, each time so aggravating. Awful.
