These came rolled up in the packaging. At first the long one was super wrinkly after unrolling it. I was worried, but over time it smoothed out and now looks great. I don't recommend doing the reverse roll technique to flatten the mat, I think that caused more wrinkles. I would suggest just laying it down and walking up and down the rug a bit instead.
