So far this jewelry has been just what I hoped for. I bought this for my girlfriend and it looks beautiful. So far I have not seen any signs of it tarnishing so I can only assume that it is pure 14 karat gold which is what I was under the impression that I bought. One thing I would say though is that the chain although very beautiful is extremely delicate. I would definitely recommend buying a separate chain which is why I'm giving this product only four stars.
