My husband and I have been using an inflatable kayak for most of our water adventures, but we have found the drag on a deep sitting kayak to be very frustrating, so we are changing to paddle boards. Husband already got a paddle board last year, and it is the one I will be comparing this to. First, I would say this fairly wide width is definitely more stable than my husband's slightly more narrow one. Evidently, even a few inches makes a big difference in stability. The weight is slightly higher than my husband's, but I think that may be expected as this is rated for up to two people and a pet. It takes about the same effort to inflate as our kayak, so we are looking into a powered inflator as filling two paddle boards is a lot of work. We haven't had any leaks in it. While this paddle board isn't the cheapest, it also isn't the most expensive, and for a fairly large weight capacity, I think it's a pretty good deal. ... show more
