First let me say this is a gorgeous set. It is heavy duty so it should last a very very long time. The chairs are extremely comfortable and the cushions are very nice. I was a little hesitant to purchase this set because so many reviews said it was hard to put together but I didn't find that the case. I did most of it myself and I'm a 56 year old woman. I did have my Hubby help hold onto a couple pieces for me just until I got them connected but otherwise it was a piece of cake. So don't get freaked out by other reviews. This product was easy to assemble and looks great on my patio. I looked at many different sets and none looked comfortable enough to sit outside to enjoy great weather and your favorite beverage. It also had to be sturdy, made of aluminum that wouldn't rust, etc. I also wanted something that rocked gently. This set is very attractive, fits just right in a small space, rocks gently, and appears to be made with sturdy materials. Worth the money - a very good value. chairs are super comfortable and appear to be well painted and sturdy. there is a very stiff plastic runner on the underside of the rocker rails that protects the metal from wear or chips. There were some very small scrapes from transit, but nothing that reached the metal or is noticeable once assembled. I had a few issues with assembly. 1) very important to use the right screw lengths on each part. the lengths are very similar - shortest go on the connection between seat and back. middle length goes on connection between arms/rocker rails and seats. longest are used on little table. 2) instructions don't make clear how seats, once connected to backs are arranged so that they line up with arms - see photo for hint, do not tighten anything until all parts assembled or you may not be able to arrange seat for connection to arms. 3) table assembly was straight forward from instructions - BUT as noted by others the table seems to wobble and I even had a leg pop out from it's connection to table top during tightening of screws. This can be FIXED as follows : a) make sure plastic connection points are lined up with corners of table top (they slide left and right in the table top groove. b) table support 'ring' is a bit too small, which is why the legs when tightened want to pull out from the top...but I fixed this by adding a couple split washers between the ring and the leg connection points to effective make the ring a bit bigger.see photo of where washers need to be added. once I added washers table was level and solid, no wobble! ... show more

I'm guessing they have improved the product based on some of the older reviews. Almost didn't order it but glad I did. Very well made. Everything was packed well. Paint is in perfect condition. No chips or scratches. All hardware was included. It was in a blister pack so if you get one with missing parts, it's probably a return. Instructions were included. Kinda. Page 1 of 3. Chair instructions only. Not for the table but it was a no brainier. Not going to say impossible to do it wrong but it would be difficult. Just slide the legs into the slots on the bottom of the table top, then slide the ring into the leg brackets and screw it together. Finger tight all around then alternately partionitly tighten with wrenches until snug while making sure the legs are all on the floor. Mine doesn't wobble or sit uneven. Over tighten one or all and it will probably sit uneven. There are three lengths of screws all close in length. The shortest ones are used to attach the seat bottom to the back with nuts. The middle length ones are used to attach the arm rest/rockers to the seat and back. The 4 longest ones are used with nuts to secure the table legs to the center ring. I would recommend separating the screws and making sure you use in the correct location. Hard to distinguish which is what when they are all together. If you get them in the wrong spot, you'll wind up with ones that are too short. Especially with the table. The nuts are lock nuts so you won't need lock washers or thread locker. They are 10mm. Wrenches were included but I used a ratchet with 10mm socket. The screws for the arm rest thread directly into them. I did use some Locktite blue there. Time will tell but assembled, the chairs are sturdy. Cushions are thin compared to more expensive sets but not bad. Probably a bit low for tall folks but short ones will like them. Wife had a bigger rocker and her feet didn't reach the floor. Not a problem with these. ... show more
