  • Fun project
We enjoyed putting this together as a family! My husband is big into outer space and star gazing so when I saw this I knew it was going to be a nice project to help the kids learn the order of our solar system. We read about the planets as they painted however the paint really didn’t work well on the slippery surface of the planets we kind of put a little glob and swirled it around and it came out pretty cool looking.. All in all it was fun and the visual crafting is always the best for remembering and learning something new. I would recommend it to another family. ... show more

  • Paint falls off
The paint that it came with was extremely cheap and thin and when it dried it hardened and crisped up and fall of at the slightest touch. Definitely not worth buying I would recommend something that at least has foam solar planets and not plastic ones I believe that’s also another reason why the paint peeled ... show more

  • Better than expected, but here's my tip:
We love this kit, it is worth it the money! My daughter really enjoyed painting each planet! BUT... The problem is that the ink doesn't attach to the planets because they are too smooth. Ink was easily coming off when it was dried, very frustrating. So I had the brilliant idea of covering the painting with one coat of nail polish. The final result was amazing! The shine incredible! It was a school project, it lasted the whole week, with kids touching and studying it. It came back home the same way it left home! Lol My daughter was so proud!!! 🥰 Perfect! Enjoy the nail polish tip! ... show more

  • Projector kind of sucked..
Bought this for a 3rd Grade, School Solar System Project for my son. It was easy to assemble and the planets mostly stay in place tightly without the use of glue (with Earth being the only exception.) We used our own Paint bc the paint included was not very good and some planets were a bit difficult to tell what it was meant to be. We added the names ourselves for a nice touch. My biggest issue though was the Projector. It works yes, however even in a completely dark room the images were hard to see. And they are small. But with all of that being said. My son was graded well on the project. It fulfilled the purpose we needed it to. And now he just keeps it on a shelf in his bedroom. And he had fun doing the project, which is the most important part to me. ... show more
