Light weight built Well I'm very impressed with the beam of light this little thing produces . It has a steady on and a flash and when you click it again there's light in the handle . So you can use this several different ways . Their support so that you can charge your phone . I keep mine on a shelf in front of a window so that it is constantly charging . I have used it once at night to go and check some things in my yard and was extremely impressed with how much light I had . I definitely will be buying more . I want them in my first aid emergency boxes I want one in my vehicle and definitely I want some in my tornado supply box . I also want to send some to friends that are in hurricane areas . Has a feature that allows you to use it as a charge bank as well. 2 other light features: strobe and area light (on side). One thing I would change is the activation button; It's very small...not prominent at all. Very hard to feel with gloves on. I would make it more outwardly curved. Lights are pretty bright in a crawl space, buttons are easy to use, and it hasn’t died yet so the solar panel seems to be working. However, it fails at charging a phone, to the point where the phone keeps notifying about connected to a charging device, disconnected from a charging device, ad infitum. The weight is so slight, I’m convinced a feather would be heavier. All in all, very good for the price. For some reason I thought I could use it to hammer nails into dirt. (I was laying a vapor barrier.) the butt is now missing some pieces, so obviously don’t do that, but everything still works the same as before, so I think that’s a point in its favor too lol. ... show more

This little flash light is perfect for camping because you don’t need to worry about running out of batteries or charging it thanks to the built in solar panel. It’s a bit larger than I expected and the plastic build feels a little cheap but I’m sure that’s what makes it so lightweight. It’s perfectly bright, and easy to cycle through the 3 modes. I really like that there’s an additional light built into the handle but I wish there were a magnet or an attachment option to make that light more functional. Definetly not 1000 lumens but its a cool little light. Some notes, it doesnt have a strap or a hole in place to add a strap. In cases where a person would need a solar powered flashlight, theyre probably going to be outside. At the very least adding holes for a strap would be very a good idea. Including one would be even better. It comes with a little charger cord which is great, similar to my note above, someone who needs a solar flashlight is probably traveling outside. A fantastic idea would be redesiging it so there is a place to store the cord on the actual light somewhere. ... show more

Works like it says. I keep it on a window sill so it's usually always charged up. When I first saw it I thought it was a cheapy, but it works great and stays charged. Easy to use and to charge. Since mine is usually charged just using the sun, I really can't say what the battery life is like - I look at the batteries as just a backup in case it rains for days. ok so i had to try this thing. the concept was cool. solar recharge and 2 types of lights. plus it was cheap as hell. i did not put much expectation in it but man was i surprised. first, the light is decently bright for both types. charges by usb. ok no problem. very light weight. what got me was the fact that the light when fully charged lasted over 2 1/2 hours. I had to leave after that so I dont know how much longer it lasted. Plus the solar panel will recharge it up. The only negative is that I have no way of knowing how long it takes to fully charge. there is no light indicator for it. otherwise I love this thing ... show more
