Features

  • SUPER PORTABLE: Solar Paper is only 1/3 of weight and 1/8 of volume compared to competitors.
  • LOOKS FANTASTIC: innovative design with gold plated solar panels.
  • Fast charging time: Charge iPhone 6 within 2.5 hours. Solar Paper uses the most efficient solar panels available on the consumer market.
  • EXPANDABLE USING MAGNETS: If you need to charge larger devices, you can simply add additional panels.
  • AUTO RESET TECHNOLOGY: Users don't have to unplug and replug the cable every time a cloud passes overhead or you walk through a shadow. This is very inconvenient. We wanted to make Solar Paper as easy as possible for anyone to use, so we have integrated auto-comparison technology into the charger, to make it automatically resume powering your devices, after the sun starts soaking it again.

Description

Paper-thin and light Portable Solar Charger Super Thin and Light: Solar Paper 5W measures just 3.5” x 7.5” x 0.4” and weighs 5 oz. (0.3 lb.) when folded. Sub panel weighs only 2.2 oz (0.14 lb.) and 0.08” thick. Fit for both Outdoorsy and Urban adventurers: Those who love mountain climbing would find it convenient, as Solar Paper is super thin and light. Solar Paper’s high portability is also beneficial for urban adventurers since they can carry it around by simply slipping it into a jacket pocket or notebook. Easily Expandable using Magnets: Embed magnets allow users to easily adjust power amount of Solar Paper by adding or subtracting panels. Plug into the Sun: Solar Paper will give you an opportunity to "plug into the Sun” anywhere, anytime. Enjoy the sunshine! Charge any devices Solar Paper can charge almost any device that can be charged via USB cable, including smartphones, tablets, power banks, GoPro, flashlights, portable game consoles, walkie- talkies, cameras, video cameras, and rechargeable batteries. LCD Ampere Meter and Auto Reset Feature LCD Ampere Meter: It shows exactly how much current flow from the Solar Paper to your electronic device. Auto-reset Feature: No need to reconnect the USB cable manually every time solar charger was under the shade. Solar Paper auto resets itself so that your device continues to charge. Hassle-free. How to pick right Solar Paper Solar Paper 5 Watt: On a sunny day, it takes 2~2.5 hours to fully charge a smartphone, when exposed to direct sunlight. On a cloudy day, duration will be a bit longer compared to a sunny day. Solar Paper 7.5 Watt: If you want to charge devices on a cloudy day but want to charge with the speed as that of on a sunny day, then use more panels, 7.5W or 10W. (However, the exact speed may vary depending on the cloudiness.) Solar Paper on a Backpack:Users can easily hang Solar Paper on a backpack using an enclosed string or connectors. Solar Paper 10 Watt: We recommend 10W Solar Paper for most of Tablets such as iPad, Galaxy tab and Microsoft Surface. • Overheats in the sun
Color: 3_ 10 Watt
I really wanted to like this product. It was exactly what I’ve been looking for in a backpacking solar charger. Compact, lightweight, simple to use. I was willing to pay the high price to meet all my requirements. However, the Solar Paper just didn’t fit the bill. The panels were simple to connect and the magnetic connectors are a genius idea. I setup the system and placed it in the sun to see how long it would take to charge my iPod. After 10 minutes i looked and (in full sun) i felt it was going slowly, but understand with anything there are limitations. Progress was being made so i was patient. 10 minutes later i checked and the LCD display (very small and difficult to see) was completely black and all charging had stopped. My only conclusion is that the system overheated. The next day, everything seemed ok so i reassembled the charger and tried again. After 10 minutes everything was black and not charging. So, a solar charger that tends to overheat in the sun seems like a serious design flaw to me. I hope a system like this is developed someday. Until then, i suppose I’ll have to settle for larger, bulkier options to charge my batteries in the backcountry! ... show more

  • Way Too Expensive
Color: 4) 15 Watt
Compare with the Anker 21W portable solar panel for $59.99. This unit is way overpriced for what they offer.

  • Good but way overpriced.
Color: 3_ 10 Watt
Way overpriced. Other chargers with similar efficiency are priced much less. Overhyped.
