These product reviews suggest that the Solar Charger is a practical and convenient tool, particularly for outdoor activities such as camping, hiking or even working outside. The charger can be very slow when it depends on solar power, which some users found disappointing. However, some customers found it beneficial that the power bank also charges via a regular power outlet.

  • πŸ“² Compatible with many devices including iPhones
  • πŸ”† Works as a traditional power bank, allowing for regular charging

  • 🎨 Product aesthetics (unexpected logos, cord color)

Should I Buy It?

If you are frequently on outdoor trips and need to keep your devices charged, this solar charger can be a valuable investment, provided you can tolerate its slow solar charging speed and make sure it's sufficiently charged before heading out. However, if you're looking for a quick solar charging solution, this product may not meet your expectations.

  • Love these chargers! Highly recommend!
I love these portable chargers. Over the last few years I've purchased three different sizes of three different brands. I'm back today to purchase another, just in case. Yes, they all still work without any issues. All are very easy to setup and use. These do take longer to fully charge so realize that before you get negative about it. I began using mine to charge our phones and tablets to save on electricity. Every little bit helps, especially down South where the electricity rates are outrageous. I charge each one for a few days on a windowsill and they're good to go. Charges phones and tablets a few times before needing top ups in the sun. Highly recommend them and particularly this one. Great item for emergencies, BOB, traveling an at home, too. ... show more

  • Review out of the box, after charging.....update to follow
The media could not be loaded. This review is FIRST impression out of the box after a FULL charge via USB/ electricity. WARNING: If you plan on using this for a camping trip or when you have NO ACCESS to POWER, I HIGHLY suggest you order this WELL IN ADVANCE, since the instructions that are included state that in order to FULLY activate the battery, it must be charged for at least 10 hours via outlet or computer the first 2-3 uses. 3 flashlight modes: *Standard flashlight *Slow flicker flash light *Fast flicker flash light *Compass *Carabiner *Micro USB charger Based on instructions, its Waterproof via rain, but NOT if fully submerged or dropped into water. That may include a puddle, based on my assumption. It seems pretty sturdy, nice rubber side grips, like the style/design. Looks rugged, hopefully after using it outdoors it will show durability. Out of the box, the solar charger had quite a bit of a charge based on the indicator battery lights but it wasnt 100% charged. So I connected the included USB charger and charged it FULLY....took a couple hours. I will be testing it out and about. Hoping to get a decent amount of uses out of it before I have to fully charge it again. I plan on running it to empty the first 3 uses to ensure I'm creating good base chargers. Its all about Battery memory. IYKYK If not, do an online search on Battery memory / charging tricks I shall update as soon as I can. I plan on cycling through 4 charges/uses total. 3 on electricity and 1 on a solar charge as instructed on the instructions manual. Please check back. ... show more

  • Didn't work
I got these during the winter incase a snow storm caused a power outage. I didn't need to use it until now and it doesn't work. I followed all the instructions and my phone doesn't even show that it's plugged in or charging at all. Disappointed that I wasted my money and am past the refund window.

  • Great Gadget
I try to carry a powerpack with me at all times. This is my new favorite. solar recharge is slow compared to plugging in at home, but it's a great piece of mind. and clipped to my backpack, knowing it's just slowly charging, is really cool. compass, flashlight, solar, charges my phone, even runs my rechargeable battery fan. it's a little big for my pockets, but clipped to my backpack works perfectly ... show more

  • Doesn't Look Like Pics (Has a Logo Printed on It), White Charge Cord instead of Black Cord
It doesn't look like the picture, and I am surprised to get a white cord whereas other sellers give out matching black cords (Btw, charge your battery pack for 12 hours before you use it, or there will be issues with how long it's been charged and how much power it says it has, and how much power it says it has and how much it will charge your phone. I specifically bought this one because the pictures in the listing didn't show ANY branding. Different vendors put their own names on the charger, and I think it looks really tacky. I wanted a solar charger which didn't have a stupid name to look at all the time. That was the one thing I didn't like about other solar batter chargers I bought which looked like these. They're all practically the same, but they always have the weirdest brand names. These aren't Android or Apple devices or anything you'd be proud to display (not that I like logos, infact I hate logos which is the whole reason why I am unhappy), and there are tons of sellers with nonsensical names selling these so it isn't like only 1 company made/is providing this product and it's super awesome that the name makes you proud to display it. Ever since I started using solar powered battery packs, I've used them constantly. I lost my housing in April 2019, and I worked as a sign spinner for almost 6 years until i got laid off because of Covid. I always liked these solar battery packs because even though the waterproof solar battery chargers of this design (the only difference being the logo printed on them) were slow to charge, I could set the charge out at the beginning of my shift-tied to my bag which would be tied to a street pole because thieves--and charge my phone to at least 20% even with only 3.5 hours of charge time. This is a big deal because as a homeless sign spinner who had to do punches off an app and check the time without any power source while working and a hard time keeping my phone charged off the clock, I always had a way to keep working and even call the police or my bosses whenever there was a safety issue or I needed to leave the corner (We could get fired for being off the corner outside of our scheduled breaks and without telling one of the higher ups). It's also a lifesaver as a homeless person because I have to keep my phone on all night (I do it in Max Power saving mode) because I have to deal with homeless druggies at night seeing a tent and then pestering me for drugs, to steal, or try to get laid. Calling 911 has always made them go away at least for that night, but it's hard to get my phone charged. Solar battery chargers are a lifesaver, even though you won't be able to keep your phone fully charged and working with just one. And the price beats the cost of repeatedly patronizing places just to sit and charge your phone. ... show more

  • Tons of Power
Great backup source. Very long battery life. Initial use shows if the battery meter (LED Lights) are accurate, this will recharge my cell phone several time. Light weight surprised me. Built-in Flashlight is very handy in a pinch when you need to find something. Only had it a few days playing with it. Can't seem to make a dent in the battery live when recharging my phone. You need something like this today with all the electronics we live with. Highly recommend this product! ... show more
