This is far from a small battery. Of course, when you realize it is very nearly 50,000mAh you'll understand why the bulk is rather necessary. I have 3 other external batteries (between 15,000 and 20,000mAh) that also feature solar charging - but the each have something in common: the solar bank does not work. As in AT ALL. I am happy to report that unlike those, this one actually does seem to have a working solar bank included. Now keep in mind charging in this manner is rather slow, but hey, when you're without power, well, beggars can't be choosers, right? This charging bank has a few things going for it that truly help to stand above most of the rest out there, especially considering how much it cost. Did you bring your battery but forget to bring the charging cable? Well you're not alone...but that isn't an issue here because this one actually comes with a built-in USB cable, micro USB, Lightning and USB-C. Talk about convenient! But folks, that isn't all. If your device has wireless charging you'll love the included fast wireless charging ability. Not sure at what wattage it charges at, but it works, and that's what counts. At 49,800mAh, this battery ought to be able to handle most peoples charging needs and wants. Factor in the ability to self charge and you're set. I do wish to tell you that in order to use the wireless charging you'll need to do some experimenting to find the best way to position your phone or whatever device you plan to charge wirelessly before you'll find the right way to do it, so keep that in mind. At first I was almost convinced it didn't work at all, but I finally was able to place my phone down in any number of different positions and just kept trying till one worked. It isn't the easiest way to charge wirelessly that I've seen, but it isn't the worst, either. Just keep at it and have patience is my advice. The included lights just might work to help you out in many different ways but I don't think I've ever used mine at all, but for you it may be critical, so that's up to you, but they DO work and are actually pretty bright, too. Unlike my other 3 power banks I mentioned above, this one does not have the blinking light option along with just keeping the light on...this one just has on/off for the 2 lights, and that's all. Not sure if that's a deal breaker for you - but it wasn't for me, but figured I'd include it anyway. All in all this is an exceptional value and a hefty one at that. If you are a power user and need extra power that'll last? Look no further.

I love this charger! It HOLDS a full charge for literally weeks, & it even charges in indirect/partial sunlight. The charge also does not wear down quickly due to battery-saving capabilities, so I can leave my headphones plugged in for a full charge & it will automatically turn of to preserve its own charge once the headphones are good to go. It’s big & dense, but its capability & durability are totally worth it. It still fits in my purse along with all my other essentials! A great story about the flashlight: I was walking through Golden Gate Park on my way back to my car from work & I saw glowing eyes walking along the same path as me, about 200ft away. I was alone at night so very much on the lookout. I grabbed this baby for light, & it illuminated EVERYTHING in a 250-300ft long cone. Incredible. So pretty quickly I could see I was heading in the same direction as a coyote! It was so beautiful & so magical, albeit somewhat scary I think for both of us. The coyote very politely kept walking toward me but left the path to walk on the grass. I’m honestly not sure what would’ve happened without the flashlight, so I was extremely happy to have it, at the very least to be able to see such an amazing animal that I will never forget. I’m a Bay Area / SF ‘native’ but I’d never seen a coyote before, & thanks to this charger with it’s super bright flashlight I had an unforgettable view of one 🤗

I bought both this product and a similar but different product. They were similar in price. This product has solar charging and Qi wireless charging while the other product doesn't, but the other product has a digital display for showing charge level (e.g. 73%) while this one only has four discrete LEDs. The solar charging is an interesting feature, but I suspect that is very limited in practice. The device charges *very* slowly via solar. I tried charging with a desk lamp just 1 inch away from the panel. After several hours, I don't think the 4-LED bar graph had budged. If charged in the sun, the instructions warn about overheating. So I consider the solar charging to be a nice "emergency" feature, but I question its effectiveness. I seriously doubt that I will ever use or need it. I briefly tried the Qi wireless charging feature and it seemed to work as expected. But the case on my phone interferes with my other Qi charging pads, so I gave up on Qi charging (in general) a long time ago. I don't have wireless earbuds or a smartwatch. If you have those items and they support Qi wireless charging, then this feature may be of great interest to you. In the final analysis, the big battery and the built-in charging cables are the most important features. I think this product delivers well in those areas.

Key reason for buying was providing charging out in the wilderness where you can't plug it in to the wall. The solar charging is critical and it doesn't work. Spend days with it in the direct sun, moving it slightly every hour to ensure it got the most direct rays......still doesn't charge. Works great if you plug it into the wall to charge, but it is very heavy to carry in a pack if it isn't going to charge from solar energy. I should have read further down in reviews to see that plenty others had this problem. Do not buy if solar charging is critical. Other than that, works as it should. The wireless charging is a bit finicky, but you will find the right spot and make it work. But I rate low because of the solar charging not working at all. And a very short return window, only a month, so now I can't send it back once I got back from my hunting trip. Another slap in the face on this product. Now I have a boat anchor that I can't return.
