I just replaced thus iPad cover with the same one because it has done such a great job! Original is from Sep 2020 on the left and the new one is on the right. It has held up great, the new version is a little sturdier. I have gotten lots of comments, especially when I carry it like a notebook and then open it as a tablet. Update: superb customer service. My first case began go warp a bit and when I contacted the seller they promptly and courteously committed to sending me a new one. No issues thus far with the replacement. Very pleased and impressed by the sellers commitment to its customers. Speaks wonders. Oh man, it grieves me to give this product anything other than 5 stars. It’s beautiful, well constructed, and inconspicuous. I’ve received so many compliments and even more double takes. I enjoy the unassuming and understated nature of the case. It’s a wonderful marriage of old school and new school. Reminds me of my grade school years. BUT, I think they built it a little too well. The case hugs the iPad so tightly that it lifts the corners of my screen protector. I tried replacing the screen protector thinking perhaps it was due to my shoddy installation but, alas, it is indeed the case. I refuse to not use the case — I just love it too much — that I’ve conceded to putting up with the air bubbles and lifted corners. (If anyone has a suggestion as to a screen protector that works optimally with the case, kindly let me know!) But If you don’t use a screen protector don’t worry about it. Buy with complete confidence.

I love my case and is better than I expected. It is made very well. I like that it is not bulky, but still feels like it will protect against the rare bump. I have used the stand mechanism and it seems to work well. I do not travel much with my iPad nor do I take it outside. I have it for drawing at a table and around the house. This case is perfect for my use. However, if I needed to travel with it a lot or use it outside, I would look for a tougher case because I would worry that the flap would get beat up. Now the tricky part with this case is finding the right screen protector. I tried a QHOQH protector, but that one would peel up at the corners like in the case of other reviews. However, I tried the ESR (2-Pack) Screen Protector for iPad Pro 12.9 2020 and that fit perfectly! It is not matte, but I was thinking of buying that film to go over the glass.

This was the case my sister wanted for her big iPad that she uses for PhD econ school. I think I would need/want something rubbery and substantial because I drop everything, but she is easier on her things than me. It's velvety on the inside and pleathery on the outside, and seems like the outside would wipe clean nicely. It mainly protects the iPad from dings and scratches when not in use, it wouldn't really absorb shock or anything if dropped. But she is very happy with it and uses it exclusively though she has another case. While of course the proportions aren't the same as a composition notebook, it does really look like a weirdly sized, thin composition notebook at a glance, the printing and design is spot on. It does fold to hold up the iPad, which she uses sometimes when not laying the iPad flat on the table to work on homework.

I was looking for a discrete cover. Something that doesn’t scream “come steal my obscenely expensive tablet!” I’ve scoured reviews (prob just like what you’re doing now) for other composition book style covers. And found some common complaints like “Apple Pencil won’t fit with a sleeve on it” or “the cover pushes up the screen protector in the corners” or “the case doesn’t fit at the top/bottom”. This case fits so well. I have 2020 12.9” iPad Pro (MXAT2LL/A). There were no issues getting the case on. The Apple pencil2 fits in the holder and charges with the sleeve on. And it looks like a true composition book. I’ve seen other covers that have the iPad case maker brand name on the “Composition Book” label -not what I was looking for. This is totally plain. The outside has a texture and is a little shiny/slick unlike the silicone or leather type covers. And just like real composition books the back side has the same pattern. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I was so excited to get this and I've gotten SO many compliments on it! I got it since I was starting college soon and planned to take notes on my iPad. It definitely got a lot of attention because people wondered where I got such a huge notebook, but then BAM! I did everyone a bamboozle because it was not a notebook but my iPad Pro! I definitely love that it has a little spot to hold my pencil so now I know where my pencil is at all times instead of having to do a whole "Where's Waldo" moment when trying to find a white pencil in the midst of white linen when I put it down while working in bed. Best thing I've bought in a good while!

I like it I have had the 3rd gen pro and tried to find the same cover but couldn’t find it anywhere, this was almost like but composition book wise my other one wasn’t a book just plain grey, but I like it once I got it in my hand actually ordered another cover just in case I didn’t like this one. Only things I don’t like are petty... like the volume up and down too thick my old cover outlined the pencil this one is just straight. And I guess I can get use to it, but besides my petty little other thing, cover works great and looks great. From unsure of getting it you going to return the other cover I ordered cause I like the one. So it’s worth it.
