Looks just like a real composition notebook. The iPad Mini 6th gen fits perfectly in the case with a rubber bumper surrounding the edges and corners. The storage slot for the ApplePencil holds it securely while still allowing charging off the iPad and protecting the pencil (make sure flat side on Pencil faces iPad). Closing the cover turns off the iPad and vice-versa. The cover folds backward to open. Folding it unto itself turns it into a stand for the iPad. Be sure that the cover sticks magnetically to one of the folds. It must be secured there for it to function as a stand. Otherwise, the iPad won't stand up. TouchID works with this cover in either portrait for landscape position. I have tried other iPad covers and the thickness of their edging material prevented TouchID from working. The volume buttons are a bit stiff to press (likely because it's new), but it's tolerable. Camera opening is sized large enough so doesn't pollute photos with reflections from the flash. Plugging a charging cable may not work if the plug is larger than the standard Apple USB-C cable (even Apple's cable took a bit of wiggling to get it to connect). Larger USB-C charging cable ends probably won't fit at all due to the small size of the charging port opening in the cover. Fall protection is decent. The corners on the pen-storage side will protect better than the hinge side, but, overall, the bumpers surrounding the edges of the cover should absorb most falls as long as they're not from too high. I have bought several cases for my iPad mini but they all had aspects that I didn’t like. Some were too loose and the ones with the book like flap (not trifold) would flap open too much when I was reading. This one works well for me. It fits snugly, it is great when I read and fold the cover back, the pencil holder secures my pencil and it’s easier to get the pencil in and out, and it’s very cute. Exactly as promised, have owned for 2+ months now and it is durable and protects my ipad. I love the apple pencil holder inside. As time has gone on the pencil is held in looser and looser every day but I think that would happen with any case that doesn't have an actual strap to hold the pencil in. I like the design on the outside and it hasn't started to fade, crack, or wear at all as of now. It cleans easily with a damp paper towel or bleach wipe. This case looks just like the photos. The case is sturdy with a softer TPU honeycomb lining to hug the back of the iPad. Front cover is soft and magnetic wake/sleep function worked perfectly. Also hugs the pencil nicely without making it too difficult to remove. I had to return the case though. I have a screen protector on my iPad. The front lip of the case is so tight and rigid that it peeled up my screen protector. the fit for protection but so so good of a fit in combination with a screen protector. ... show more

I get so many compliments on this iPad case? It’s so friggin cool and the quality is superb! For the price, it’s one of the best cases I’ve ever had. The magnetic closure and auto pause upon closure is fantastic. The buttons and fingerprint scanner are still accessible. The charger still fits. It’s got a slot to hold the pencil and still charges thru the case. The company accidentally sent me 2 cases when I only ordered one and when I reached out they let me keep the extra so I have a backup for when this ones no good anymore. Which after all this time it’s still in great condition. The inside living is like a microfiber and hasn’t started oiling or anything. The cover hasn’t faded.
